7 Ruby Road Wall Mounted Cat Scratcher - Indoor Vertical Scratching Board for Cats - Scratch Pad Post - Wall Furniture

Cat loved the first one we bought so much that we got a second for another room. Purchased Nov. 2020 and June 2021 and they’re still going strong. Did not wall Mount so we can move them around as the cat chooses new spots to try scratching. This works well as she will favor one area and then switch it up on us. She is petite and stands on the pad to weight it down while scratching. Pros: Attractive Natural materials Sturdy! Easy to use Cat loves it Durable Compact for small spaces Portable if not wall mounted Cons: Sisal not replaceable Cost We also have a toy from this company and it’s the only toy she has consistently enjoyed playing with since kitten hood (she’s now two). I came online to buy another scratcher for a third room but am considering trying the replaceable-mat version now that it’s an option. Will need to cogitate on that and take some measurements.

I’ve had this for a while now, and overall I think it’s a nice alternative to cardboard scratchers. I wanted something that had mainly natural components (sisal and wood) and that looked good in my living area. This fit the bill and both of my cats use it regularly. Few things to note: - Can be mounted, but I’m lazy so I left it on the floor and my cats still used it (pretty funny watching them use it on the ground, kind of looks like a surfboard lol) - The sisal has started to come up on one side and I don’t think there’s a way to repair or replace it which is a shame - This doesn’t shed at all which is awesome! Cardboard scratchers I’ve bought in the past drive me nuts because cardboard gets everywhere - it’s not heavy at all so when your cat uses it on the ground it thumps around unless you find a way to anchor it to the ground

It a nice, stylish solution to an errant cat. My only complaint is that my cat demolished the covering in a fairly short time, easily replaced. Worth the price, compared to replacing furniture.

We’ve loved this product. It’s two years old and has been through two cats. Finally replacing it. You can see it’s been well-used. It’s a really simple and sleek design- not an eye sore like most cat scratchers. Both kitty and human approved!

I’ve purchased this twice because it looks nice even though it’s a scratching post for the wall. With that said, the jute insert keeps coming off. The price is way too high for what you’re getting.

This is no ordinary cat scratcher! It's sleek, well made, and takes up minimal space (which makes a big difference in our smaller home)! Our cat has been a complete terror lately, moving on from shredding our couch to literally tearing the paint off our walls. This seemed like the perfect fix, as it attaches to the wall. I rubbed some cat nip on it and set it down flat to get our cat used to it and then hung it on the wall a few hours later. So far so good, he seemed to take to it really quickly! In the instruction pamphlet, there is information on being entered into a drawing for a reimbursement (who doesn't love free stuff), but I was having a little trouble with it. I went on Facebook and sent a message to the company and received a reply within minutes. They were super nice and added me in manually. I always feel extremely guilty buying from Amazon because I like to support local businesses, but Amazon is just so convenient, I usually give in... welp Amazon proved me wrong today. This company just released this product, and I feel like my purchase really mattered. Quality, style, and excellent customer service! I would 100% buy this product again and anything else they make!

This product is amazing. My cats loves it, I love it because it looks good. It’s durable. BUT… The distance for the installation holes keeps changing and it’s so annoying just to swap the new one in. I been buying them for the past 4 years, and it improved, the round edges are smothered now and I appreciate but how hard it’s to keep the distance inside constant? Instead to obligate me to get frustrated and make holes and holes and ruin my wall? I will give this a 5 stars if wouldn’t be for this small but big issue.

UPDATE: This was written when I bought my first, I am currently purchasing my 3rd. The first one lasted a lot longer than the second. The second only had a few staples holding it in and my cat didn’t get as much use out of it. It caught on his nails and pulled away. (Attached Picture) I wish they’d sell replacements to go on the wood because I could attach it securely. If the 3rd one is the same and it wasn’t just a fluke… I’ll start buying rolls of sisal and doing it myself. I’ll update again and adjust ratings as well if needed. ***A lot of reviews complain about the product shaking when cats tried to use it… I used the foam pieces they added for floor use to the back and hung it with those attached. Makes for a bit of a pain to get it hung up because of pressure to get it tight, but we’ll worth it. It doesn’t budge. It’s perfect!

This is such a beautiful and good quality product. Goodbye ugly scratchers. I am now ordering another one for our bedroom.

The cord used in this scratcher is too hard and woven too tightly. My cat tried using it several times and couldn't hook up his claws in it. He reverted to using his old much softer scratcher.
