My son loves these. We have 5 of them now because there is one at each sitter, two in his crib at home and one is back up. They’re durable, wash well, soft and thin. I felt fine giving it to him safely at a young age for his comfort.

Bought this design for a lovey for baby girl to be able to breath in crib. It was great and breathable no matter what. The softness of it is great for a baby and the color is very vibrant. It is perfect size for a baby between the age of 6 months to one year. This was a perfect buy and would be a great gift.

My baby is learning to self soothe and I wanted something safe she could hold onto while sleeping. The mesh with big holes through out offers me a piece of mind like no other could. Impressed!

We starting looking for a lovey when my son was about 6 months old. This lovey is now a staple during naps and nighttime. I choose this one as it was safe for him to have in the crib with him while sleeping and I didn't have to worry about any suffocation issues as the holes make it easy to breath. We now own 3 of these because I am constantly washing them because he sucks on the arm. I like that its a small size but still enough for him to hold and snuggle. The fabric on the head is very soft and the bottom fabric feels almost like a faux suede material-very soft as well. Its easy for him to hold without being too big and is easy to throw in the diaper bag for a trip to grandma/grandpa's house. We have not had any issues with the head coming off as some of the other reviews discuss but I wash on delicate/cold and line dry. This dries quickly though and if I wash the night before its dry by morning. 6 months later all the lovey's are still going strong.

I love this lovey just as much as my daughter. Being able to give something to her at night that I didn’t have to worry about was a lifesaver. My daughter is not the best sleeper and loves to put things on her face to sleep; I do not worry if she puts this on her face because it has holes. Now my daughter is over a year old and I don’t worry as much but this is still a favorite. She has other loveys now but she still prefers this one. I had to buy an extra one to have because now my daughter has to have it. Only complaint is that you have to hand wash. Recommend to everyone.

This is a good product. It's made of soft, lightweight material and is very breathable. There are many reviews saying it's super soft and others saying it's really rough so I thought I'd chime in with my two cents. The material it's made of is soft and the bear is soft and cuddly! The "problem" comes in with the cut outs. The texture they create with their edges makes the fabric feel a little rougher than it would be without. But it really isn't rough at all. They make it much safer. It really is a give and take. It's one of those things that you just need to try out for yourself to know if it will work or not. It just isn't as soft as the other thick loveys but if it's their first lovey then they won't know the difference, really. The sacrifice is a little comfort for a lot of safety. I know which one I want for my child at this stage of life.

Both of my sons love these loveys they are such a great self soothing tool for bedtime. And the fact it’s breathable is so reassuring and gives peace of mind. Highly recommend

These are the best loveys ever. My son has at least 15 of them (yes,15) which we rotate around. They have changed some over the years: they started as beige, then had a white shirt but were skinny. Next, he got a little more filled and now he changed again to a fuzzy white lovey. My son loves them all. He has nice Sam, buff Sam, and now fluff Sam. They are easy to hold by the ‘neck area’ and wash well. We have had to do some repairs over the years by sewing them but they still are great! Picture on the right is the newest one.
