Realistic looking flames and good heat
Love this fireplace heater. Looked through dozens and dozens of them on and off Amazon and this heater had the most realistically-shaped and burning logs ambiance I've seen. I put on the main heat in my house, opened the oven door at 475 degrees and then turned this heater on and space heats up quickly. Once it does heat up, I turn off the oven and main heat and this awesome heater will pretty much maintain the warm temperature in a vaulted ceiling large living room. It fit perfectly in our wood-burning fireplace and the power cord is practically invisible running to the outlet. Be sure to buy recommended extension cord because heater cord, like all electronics, has short power cord. Really good value for only $129.99 compared to many higher priced fireplace heaters. So glad I don't have to store wood, pay for chimney cleaning and constantly shoveling out messy and dusty burned wood anymore. Because of all of this, it pays for itself quickly since you will no longer need to buy wood to burn and won't have to keep the main house heat on if you're pretty much in the same room for awhile. I highly recommend this fireplace insert heater to take the chill out of a room. Combine this with birch battery operated wax candles for $19.39 and you will have the coziest space you can imagine. Just be sure to measure the inner space of your fireplace to be sure that any heater you purchase won't be proportionately too large or too large for the fireplace space dimensions. Last, it has a remote control that works from the front of the heater with a timer and more. Lots of the other heaters I looked at seemed to have remote control connection on the SIDE of the heater instead of the common sense place on the front. At least that is how it looked in the images of the different products. So happy I chose this heater.

Absolutely gorgeous
Just take it right out of the box, and it’s ready to use. The heat output is exceptional & they look like legit real gas logs. I was alil weary but these are just what I was looking for. The fan noise isn’t loud at all, it’s very low just enough to disperse the heat into the room on the medium setting. The hi setting is minimal & nothing at all to complain about, it’s exactly the way true gas logs sound when you turn the fan on. So cozy & warm. I love the way it looks, very realistic! If you’re debating about buying these, you found the right review, In my opinion they’re absolutely perfect ….. & I am not getting paid or getting any kind of reimbursement for this review, I wish k was but I’m not, lol Go for it! Buy them!! You won’t regret it

Good enough for a dark room or with some visible screen
For about 120 bucks it works pretty good. I've seen in on sale for about 80 bucks which puts it cheaper than a vornado with the auto thermostat. The vornado will be warmer and quieter and I would bet more reliable. But, this does make the fireplace look a nicer and well worth the money, especially when on sale. It's only 1400 watts so it can't actually heat a room very well without being on constantly. The fan noise is acceptable and much better than my wall heater which sound like a leaf blower. The automatic switch that turns it on/off is very loud. It bothered me at first but now I don't even notice it.The heat comes out the blower very low on the front. My fireplace has a lip so if the unit is set flat on the floor, it would block the heat and direct it back to the thermostat. This would cause it to turn of early thinking the room was warm... but it was only warming itself. The thermostat would read 79 degrees, but the room was closer to 60. I resolved it by lifting the front of the insert so it blows up and over the fireplace lip (you can see the tilt in the photo). The thermostat is still quite a bit off. I have it set to 75 degrees and the actual room temp is closer to 67.Not terribly realistic looking but in a dark room or with a screen in the front it looks good enough. I don't really notice it anymore, but when I first added it, it did make the room feel more comfortable and cozy. Certainly easier than light and remembering to blow out candles or using wood/compressed logs and a lot cheaper over the course of it's lifetime.

I like it.
I have a fireplace that needs to be completely rehabed for it to be functional. It would probably cost upwards of $5K. But I always wish I can have a fire in there for the holiday gatherings. I live in a fairly warm climate, so I don't really need to use a fireplace that often. So this is perfect, I get a fairly realistic look of a fire without having to redo my whole fireplace.I am really happy with it. It looks great, and everyone that saw it was impressed with the way it looks. It's not going to warm up your house. I have to stand in front of it to actually feel any heat, but it looks great and that's all I was looking for. I have been using it fairly steadily for about 3 months, still working fine. The remote control is ok, sometimes it take a couple clicks or have to be right in front of it to work, but it's not a big deal. I would buy it again if that ever comes up.

Fireplace logs
Totally happy with these- I have a cast iron Ben Franklin Fireplace and these fit right in there and give the illusion of fire in it with the logs and also provides heat - all with a remote control

Easy, beautiful, and very affordable
The media could not be loaded. I like everything about this to product. The heat is instant, and is adjustable by remote. The heater fan makes a little noise, but not enough to be annoying. The remote is a nice size and has all the settings I need. The flames are beautiful and realistic looking. Everyone who has seen this fireplace really likes it. I LOVE it and highly recommend it to anyone.looking for an electric fireplace.

Bonita para su precio!
Esta muy bonita y calienta muy rico, el único tema es que me hubiera gustado que realizara sonidos como si el tronco se estuviera quemando para hacerlo más real.
