Works great. Great lens. I love the UV light. I'd buy it again. It also comes with a key to open the battery compartment and a nice leather case to protect the loupe.

Great glass lens. Clear heavy duty and well made. Solid aluminium body and SS lens cover. Switch isn't hard to use, and cover doesn't interfere with it. Batteries fully charged when I received it. Rugged snapping leather case. You'll need the light even at 10X magnification unless you're in full daylight. If you're on the fence just buy one. Great value. I've used it a half dozen times this week already. You'll find all kinds of uses for it. This is a portable lens. Note the size. If you're inspecting photo negatives or artwork etc. buy something with a built-in round base seen elsewhere. Update 12/2024 Buy a 20 pack of batteries on Amazon, it does eat batteries quickly. My guess is you get ~10-30 minutes? of light per set of 3. Very rough guess though. Haven't tried the cheap 20 pack batteries yet, I expect they will be consumed even faster as they came out of the package at less than the 1.50Vdc. They should have measured about 1.59-1.63Vdc if they were new Duracells, etc. if they were quality batteries.

Amazing jewelers loupe! The LED is super bright and the black light is a nice touch as well (although I’m not sure what its purpose is for). The build quality is impressive; it feels nice in your hands and has a good weight to it. It’s easy to get into focus - you will be able to view your diamond up close. Unfortunately I had to return it as I was trying to read the laser inscription on the diamond and 10X is not sufficient for that.

It comes with a built in UV and LED light. The batteries are pre-installed so it is easy to use. Just slide to the off and on positions. Just make sure it's all the way off before putting it in the case. I will go on a limb and say some people think the batteries doesn't last because when they closed it, it stayed on until next use. So again, if it's not off directly in the center, it is easy to accidentally move to one of the two on positions (UV or LED). The lights are powerful so that should not be a worry. Try using a white background. The size is a 10X triplet and it will be good for most quick visual processes. I ordered a triplet loupe from the GIA and they sent it to the wrong person so while waiting for a replacement I ordered this one. I have no regrets. This is Loupe is able to accurately do everything I need for. The price and quality is right. Update: Received my more expensive Loupe and this Express loupe is way more comfortable to use. The size is a major plus. Lights still work.

This is the first looking glass that I have loved getting. I have bought a lot of the ten dollar ones and they fell apart. I took the chance on this one and I am so glad I did. I love the color choices of the blue light and the view is amazing and clear. I love the case and the necklace too but overall I think it’s the best choice for checking the dates on coins or the makers mark on jewelry. I think if you spend the additional ten bucks you’ll be on the same page as I am. This is simply the better choice. I love it in case you can’t tell. I say just get this one because it feels solid and I think I’ll have it in a year from now and not a broken one that I’ve purchased too many times before.

Better than my high price eye loupe that I have used for years. I bought a couple of these for at home and some for at work. I love the lights. The UV is great for reviewing conformal coating on PCBAs. This is made from heavy duty materials and is the ideal size. Clean and clear images. The batteries run out faster than you would think and are a little annoying to change, but it is a reasonable cost. I cannot go back to not having the ring light. Best thing I have ever bought.

Good product, only criticism is it's too easy to leave on, need better button .

This scope is equiped with a decent lens that allow for easy focusing, with quite an effective led illumination in darker corners. Have not really tested out the Uv function, cos i have not use of it for now. I’d spent over hundred dollars in search for loupe that could offer decent focal length which wouldn’t spoil my eye sight. Noticed the online retail sphere has been plagued with loupes with focal length that can’t even squeeze a finger in between the loupe and object, regardless of magnifications, usually in ranges higher than 20x to lure buyers. Some versions even advertised a different but visually similar model, but only to receive an identical version to my earlier purchases, with identical aesthetically pleasant casings. But what i needed is the scope, not the casing! I definitely recommend this over many other loupes in the market.

Outstanding for the price!! I own a few loupe’s, antique, vastly more expensive one’s. But this had one massive plus that my others didn’t a light and not just one two! 6 bright white LED and a UV. Very well made and great to carry with the included case. Now if this is your first loupe, don’t be shocked by the cost this is an amazing loupe for the price, you can get cheaper but remember this is a triplet loupe not a singlet, While more expensive, a triplet provides a sharp, color-corrected image from edge to edge, whereas single-lens magnifiers suffer from significant distortion and color blurring at the edges. Oh and not mentioned anywhere in the description or tech description, replacement batteries needed are L936F. Will be buying a spare in the future, for daily life.

La lupa tiene buen lente con bastante aumento y las luces son un plus, especialmente la luz UV que permite encontrar materia orgánica con mucha facilidad. Se lleva un diez.

つけてみたところ、UVライトが少し弱いため、これで蛍光反応の見分けをする場合は微妙かもしれない。普通のライトの明るさは十分だと思います。拡大も良く見えます！UVだけ少し残念かも・・・電池を替えれば明るさも変わるかもしれないことに期待します。
