Review: Very good value for money - Having committed to Couch25k I decided I should invest in a pair of trainers. I didn’t want to buy an expensive pair - I hadn’t ever run in my entire 56 years of being born and didn’t expect to make it past the first 60 seconds tbh. I opted for what I considered to be a ‘budget’ trainer! I read the advice to wear trainers half a size larger to avoid losing toenails (as if I would ever build up enough speed or distance!). So I ordered a 7.5 to allow my toenails to remain in their beds and comfortable enough with thicker socks. Perfect size! They inspire me to run because they are neon bright and very very comfortable. So far I have completed my first week and although the air is thicker where I live and thus makes walking and running feel like I am neck deep in molasses - I am enjoying the exercise and the comfort when wearing these trainers. Sadly the comfort stops at my ankles as the rest of my body feels like it’s been 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Nothing to do with the trainers, just an unfit slightly heavy body - (I am waiting for my new one to arrive in 8 weeks ;) Review: Grey lightweight running trainers - good fit, lightweight, great value for money - Lightweight and comfy. Have been out running in them since they arrived and great fit. Breathable and appear durable. I think they look professional and I like the pattern. I noticed the stitching around the sides of one of the tongues near the base of the tongue inside the trainers had slightly came apart at the seams compared to the other tongue, but other than that, a good value for money purchase. ## Features - Sports shoes with fashion and comprehensive function can be used for running, fitness, hiking, travel, sports, fitness, climbing, jogging, outdoor sports, etc. - Lightweight and breathable - sneakers material adopted mesh material with good breathability, absorbs sweat, lightweight design improves comfort and mobility, suitable for spring, summer, autumn and winter. - LIGHTWEIGHT & BREATHABLE - Running shoes material adopted mesh material with good breathability, absorbs sweat, lightweight design improves comfort and mobility. - Lace-up running shoes round toe shoes, improved toe cap provide effective protection for your toes, sneakers keep your feet comfortable all day long. - The knitted and breathable vamp provides ultralight support, soft and comfortable. From day one, they are like wearing bedroom slippers. They are so comfortable. And as the previous pair I purchased, I expect them to last a long time. I have worn the others for several years and there are no signs of wear. I only purchased a second pair as I used a pressure washer and covered the other pair in sand and dirt. However, a wash under the tap and they have come up like new again (so didn't really need to buy another pair). The design has changed little over the years. Apart from the original trainers having a see through heal, they are almost identical in construction. I have forked out a fortune in trainers, some big name brands costing £100s only to find they have come unstitched or wore out. But these trainers despite their low price are rock solid. I cannot fault them. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/163735127-running-shoes-mens-womens-trainers-lightweight-outdoor-sports-shoes-athletic](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/163735127-running-shoes-mens-womens-trainers-lightweight-outdoor-sports-shoes-athletic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
