I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent: Stops Chewing on Plants/Furniture - 32oz

WHEN I WALK MY DOG I THROW A WALNUT TO THE SQUIRRELS! THEY HAVE COME TO RECOGNIZE ME AND TIME WHEN I WALK MY DOG! THEY DON'T BOTHER ANYONE WHO LEAVES THE BUILDING SO I'M HAPPY ABOUT THAT! I LIVE ON 3FL BALCONY AND OMG THE SQUIRREL NOW KNOWS WHERE I LIVE! I HAD TO DO SOMETHING QUICK OR HE'S TELL ALL HIS BUDDIES OR THEY EVEN MIGHT HAVE SEEN HIM COME UP ON MY BALCONY RAILING! I CHOSE THIS PRODUCT HOPING IT WILL DETER THE SQUIRREL FROM COMING BACK! A FEW TIMES I SPRAYED THE RAILING AND HOPE HE WIL NOT BE BACK! I HAD TO WEAR CLEAR GOGGLES AND A MASK BECAUSE THE ODOR OF IT IS NOT HEALTHY AND I READ OR WAS TOLD DON'T LET IT GET IN OR NEAR YOUR EYES! ...................MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WORKED AND I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM FOR QUITE AWHILE!...... HOPE HE DOESN'T GET DESPERATE OR HUNGRY TO PAY A VISIT BUT IF HE DOES I'LL DO IT AGAIN UNTIL HE STOPS!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S A GOOD PRODUCT OTHERWISE.............I THINK THIS SMARTY SQUIRREL WILL NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS PRODUCT EVER AGAIN! THANKS FOR THE PRODUCT THAT WON'T HURT THE SQUIRRELS!

Doesn't deter squirrels one iota. They even dug into my flower pots with artificial flowers and made a mess even though the pots were sprayed. Lost a lot of tulip and gladiolus bulbs. Thankfully, they haven't torn my patio chair or swing cushions apart as they did last year. Fingers crossed...too much rain and having to repeat applications. Will get costly.

This stuff works better than anything else we’ve tried. Our neighbor insists on feeding squirrels which increases the population and makes gardening almost impossible. Bought a small bottle to start. Wet the plants and ground around them. It instantly cut squirrel traffic by 90%! The stubborn ones went for any plant or flower we may have missed so we sprayed those the next day. Watched carefully for a week lightly spraying each morning. Bought the gallon size the next week and now we only spray lightly after we water. No squirrel's in the garden or on the patio furniture. We have our patio and garden back. Smell- not pleasant but not bad, fades as it dries so it’s not noticeable after 10 min. Cost- not cheap but less than others and lasts longer than most. Effectiveness- best we’ve used. Will buy again and also use the granules before we plant next year.

This serves as a deterrent ... but it won't stop all. I had two oak trees that were fairly close to each other but away from everything else so that the only way for squirrels to get into the tree was to go up the trunk. Towards the end of summer the squirrels decided the acorns were ripe enough and they were creating quite a mess every day under the trees with bitting off the ends of limbs. I sprayed the lower five feet of trunk of each tree and it did reduce the mess and activity, but didn't eliminate it. You can definitely smell it if you are close to the trees at all. A couple times I saw squirrels that would start to run up and then would jump off. A couple other times I watched as they held their nose and continued the dash up the tree. I've also had a problem with a bird feeder I have with peanuts in it for the birds. It was not unusual to see a squirrel from time to time hanging on the feeder munching down peanuts. I treated the paths they would use to get to the peanuts and it has drastically reduced the activity, but again I swear you have one that knows how to stop breathing long enough to get past the odor. Squirrels will be squirrels.

Really like the spray bottle. Works well in dispensing the product. However, the product itself had very mixed results. We have lots of squirrels and they go after our bird feeders. This item worked well as a general deterrent; however, had little effect on stopping the determined squirrels. For them, more a seasoning than a deterrent.

I use this to keep deer off my flowers and squirrels away from biting Christmas light cords and it is great for both! Spray again after a rain if using on flowers to prevent deer from eating.

I went through 2 bottles in 2 weeks. Did nothing for me-squirrels still digging holes in my flower pots and garden. Smells fine though so giving 2 stars.

While a bit pricey, this does the job - IF you follow directions and spray every day for a week so the squirrels stop expecting to visit that spot. Then once a week usually does it - unless it rains. Get out there immediately when the rain stops. I have loads of potted plants, lots of seeds and seedlings - the squirrels were digging everything up in their quest for nuts (really? they can't remember where they buried them? And look around - they are lying in sight on the ground!) I have plastic snakes and a fake hawk - the squirrels mocked me. The hawk was actually chewed on. I've been using this product for more than a year and will continue to use it. I've suggested it to others who then thank me - but they follow the instructions!
