It does fit well which I like, but the socks don’t look very well either so I ordered a separate pair. I will save it for use at comicon as well. The fabric is I would say a high quality costume grade fabric, not quite as a regular garment, but not see through and should definitely hold up to washing. It fastens with Velcro on the back. My only complaint is it is a tiny bit short in the waist (the waist is a little high) and the sleeves a about a 1/2 inch short, very minor issues. The socks are high quality tube socks which stayed up perfectly, no elastic issues at all. I normally wear a size 6/8, I'm 5'4" and 127 pounds and it fit me fine.
