NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer, Satin Finish

This is my favorite primer. It is lightweight, blurring, pore minimizing and gives a nice soft matte look. It doesn't sparkle or glitter. It is just nice and soft. I typically buy it locally, but no one seems to have it in stock. Amazon's price is about a buck more - but I was able to order and got it in a few days. I highly recommend this primer. For reference, I am 57 with good combination skin. I do have a few wrinkles and this does not sink in and showcase them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great primer for a smooth finish! I’m really impressed with this primer. The texture feels silky and lightweight, and it applies very smoothly on the skin. It minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines, leaving a soft matte finish that makes my foundation last much longer. My makeup stays fresh throughout the day without looking cakey or greasy. The packaging is convenient and a little product goes a long way, so one tube lasts a while. I have combination skin and it works perfectly without causing any dryness or excess shine. Overall, this is one of the best affordable primers I’ve tried, and I would definitely repurchase it. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a primer that would be an affordable dupe for Hourglass Veil. This certainly did not disappoint, as it is very close, if not the same, as the Hourglass. Very silky and lightweight, which is exactly what I was hoping. The only drawback is that it sometimes separates within the tube, and comes out like the liquid didn't mix with the primer part (if that makes sense). AND, funny, that Hourglass does the exact same thing. It works better if you keep turning the tube over or upside down in between uses. Either way, this is working for me, and I will definitely repurchase.

I ran out of the primer that I normally use which I purchased at Ulta beauty. I saw a YouTube review of various products, and NYX was recommended. I already use their corrected and really like it so I thought I would try it. This primer goes on like silk and gives my skin a very smooth finish under your foundation. It’s much less expensive than the Ulta beauty product, which I think was also called veil and it does a wonderful job. Highly recommend.

For the size and price point of this primer and claims, I was not impressed. Didn’t minimize my pores and I felt like I needed A LOT of this product to cover my face because it was thick and didn’t glide and spread like others do. It made my face matte after applying which didn’t help with foundation applying smoothly after. It’s also a white creme that left a cast on my face (i have a light medium complexion). Just a pass. It’s a decent enough primer but not for this price point and size. The thing is tiny... Do yourself a favor and purchase Niacinamide serum form Naturium and use as primer instead. It smooths out skin and minimizes pores for $15. Thank me later. It’s my saving grace. Also I paid $16 for this... i keep going back and prices vary. It was on sale for $13... now $14? What’s up with that? ALSO, I tried to return the product and surprise! NO RETURNS allowed although it said free returns on Amazon the day I purchased it. (And I know it did because that’s something I look for every time) if not I don’t purchase, especially something I’m not familiar with. I’m so disappointed in the way they can just change policy over night. I’m not satisfied with this product and I have a right to my hard earned money. Anyway, that’s my two cents, if you wanna try it best to purchase at target or something...

This product is the best of the best. Great price and as a primer I would highly recommend. I have tried other products which were more expensive and they were meh. Angel Veil was great. One caution ---a little goes a long way. Be sure and take time to really rub it in.

great primer,makes pores disappear

Really love this primer. I rotate a couple of different primers in my makeup routine. This primer is not too matte, so it is a nice alternative to my Bobbi Brown matte primer. It has a beautiful velvety quality to it that feels incredible. The results are a natural looking finish. It is a small size, so perfect for my travel kit too. $5-7 is the most I’d pay tho. I’m seeing 16$ price points, which I would pay if it came in a bigger size. This is a small tube. I got about 30 applications out of it.

I finally decided to try the NYX Angel Veil and I've been using it a couple of months now. It is a great dupe for Hourglass Veil mineral primer which has always been my favourite but I wanted something more affordable. At first I found the NYX Angel Veil a bit tricky to apply, because it would leave white marks on my face or start pilling. I had to take extra time in the morning to work with it. The best thing to do is to massage it between your fingers for a few seconds until the white disappears, and then apply it to your face. It does an excellent job at keeping your making up looking fresh and flawless all day though. I think this would perform extremely well in hot summer weather too. Lately though I have also been trying out the Elf Poreless Face primer which I absolutely love. I think the real test will be in the summer in hot humid weather, to see which one keeps me looking matt and flawless for longer :) Either way I do recommend trying out this primer if you like Hourglass, because it is an excellent replacement for it, yet less expensive. Es el mejor primer para emparejar la textura, mejor que los de alta gama y que no genera grasa como los primers a base de silicona. De verdad, el mejor. además hacer que el maquillaje dure más. Solo no lo recomiendo para uso diario. No me ha pasado pero quizá pueda obstruir poros.
