I tried this for the first time today on my sensitive skin. This sponge had a sturdy, almost-rubbery feel once it was wet. I scrubbed all over with it and it did not irritate my skin at all. While washing, it felt soft against my skin, so I wondered if it was really exfoliating, but after my shower, I could definitely tell it had worked because my skin was very smooth. It even smoothed my calloused feet. HOWEVER, I am super-sensitive to smells, and this sponge had a mushroomy sort of odor that I could detect the whole time I used it, even through heavily scented body wash. My husband said he didn't smell the odor on me after my shower, but when I gave him the konjac sponge to sniff, he said he did notice it and it smelled like a weird vegetable or mushroom. I'll try to use this again, because it worked great without irritating, but that odd odor really bothers me, which is why it lost one star in this review.

This konjac sponge is the largest I've found here. I like it cause it allows me to wash my toddler entire body quickly and effectively. It is smooth enough for little ones sensitive skin. Using it every day, and still lasts about 3, 4 months. Subscribed.

I've been using the 2 sided Buf-Puf for the last couple years but have been disappointed w the product's longevity. I thought I'd give this a try since it got so many great reviews and seemed to be constructed better. It does have a pleasant texture and I can tell it would last a good while HOWEVER it does not even "scratch the surface" when it comes to the abrasiveness I expect when buying a product w terms like "Exfoliating" and "Deep-Cleansing" in the description. I've already used it so w a $12 price tag, returning it is more hassle than just chucking it. It's too soft even, for my face. I need something that'll remove the dirt and dead skin. This doesn't come close.

I am so satisfaid and surprise because this is a magic sponge. Just in the first day of use i clearly see the differents and see how clean my face look now. I am very happy because i have a few blackhead poins over my nouse. And after the first use with a neutrogena scrub the natural edition of neutrogena with no test on animal. Work fantastic. I bought this product because is no test on animal 100% natural. So i will recomend this product to any one who really care live of animal, no animal cruelty, no more toxic things what can contaminate more the world .

Seriously??? Cruelty free my butt,......this product is made in China which is known for not being cruelty free. You'd think for paying $12 for an overpriced fancy sponge it could be made in like Italy or something. Haven't even used it yet but will update review afterwords. Update: ok, have actually used it now. I will give it credit for this, it is soft. However, it is fairly small, pretty much the size of your hand and thin, does not increase in size that much after getting wet. Probably only really good for washing your nether-regions. Also, the "string" is pretty much just that, a string, or thick piece of thread. Not going to go through the hassle of sending it back but will not be buying another one ever.

It's a sponge. For those with super sensitive skin, it's probably great for exfoliation. I used it with my regular soap for about a week and it was fine, but I felt like I needed a little more scrubbing action. But for normal every day showers, a loofah or wash cloth is probably much better at exfoliating.

I have to use konjac or natural sea sponges for my body because I have eczema. I've used many kinds from many brands, and so far pureSOL has the best bang for the buck. These are study and well-made and last longer because the sponges are pretty dense. Personally, I don't use any of the "flavored" konjac sponges because I don't think there's much difference between the original and other kinds.
