Gibraltar SC-RBA Rack Tube Boom Attachment

If you use a tubular rack for your drums and want to downsize the amount of hardware and speed up setup time, then these are the parts you want! I was able to get rid of 4 clamps on the rack which since these are lighter, improved the easy of carry and setup. Absolutely perfect! make sure to tighten them up snugly and check for tightness before the show starts because depending on how much you tear down, these may loosen a bit after transport. I keep mine installed all the time and a stand in them so I always double check tightness before I start hitting the cymbals ( I use these as cymbal mount holders).

Efficient! When space is at a premium, why go with some other clamp and clutter up your rig even more when you have empty space in your rack tubes? Now you can access that space with this attachment / clamp. Stick a cymbal boom in there and then you can attach whatever you need to the cymbal boom arm. I got a cymbal boom arm in there with a microphone attachment and now I have a mic without having a separate mic stand / tripod. Sooner or later you're going to want to mount a cymbal, mic, another drum, a HandSonic, some percussion thingy or gizmo and this can get you there with minimal space and clutter. Love it.

Bought two. One had set screws for mounting . Other had drum keys screws. Actually missing one screw. Poor quality control.

Great addition to my drum set, I liked it so much I ordered two more of the SC-RMAA clamps... I like THIS one a little better. THIS clamp will hold almost any size diameter cymbal arm (except the small knurled boom arm from an old cymbal stand). It is a little more flexible than the SC-RMAA... But the plastic inserts on the RMAA do grip well, and may dampen a small amount of rattle... But ONLY in the three sizes they fit. The clamp is strong, and easy to use. Can't recommend it enough, makes great use of the vertical tubes on your drum frame.

Ich hatte bisher ähnliche Rackklemmen eines anderen Herstellers. Diese hier ist wie von Gibraltar gewohnt sehr stabil und passgenau. Leider passen Memoryklamps von z.B. Tama nicht zu diesem Halter, was aber natürlich kein Problem des Produktes selber ist. Ich habe die Klemmen mit einer Feile dahingehend optimiert.
