Great information

Great quick overview of planning and scheduling. I work in a P&S group and it is a great tool for new employees and to brush up on the fundamentals.

The information within is spot on. We use many of the suggestions in our maintenance department. Keeps me behind the desk instead of in the shop!

Great book for a production line maintenance coordinator it has a great layout I never look at some areas of maintenance as Ricky has great job

I have been planning & scheduling for a few years now & have read several books that left me somewhat confused. This book was to the point & gave me some clear objectives to work on. Well done.

This is a quick read and should be on every maintenance managers "must read" list and then kept in his, or her personal library!

I've had a bit higher expectation for this book. It really is "simple", so I don't recomend it for skilled planners and schedulers. As for newly promoted or hired - this book will provide them with a view of how this kind of job should be done properly.

Ricky Smith and Jerry Wilson have written the perfect small book for Planning and Scheduling. It's a no nonsense book, that from cover to cover is just chock full of planning and scheduling goodness! I found myself highlighting text throughout the book so I could easily find and reference material in it when talking to subordinates, co-workers, and bosses about planning and scheduling. The best way I can describe the contents in the book shortly is to say that "Planning and Scheduling made simple is the perfectly focused fusion of common sense, experience, expertise, and wisdom that have been culminated from years spent working in Maintenance and Reliability as it relates to Planning and Scheduling". Get yourself a copy you won't be disappointed!
