I bought these for woodturning and they're ideal: shavings and sawdust brush easily off the fabric, they zip right up to the neck, have button cuffs and pockets with flaps that don't fill with shavings. Not only that, they actually look good and appear to be well-made. I'm 44" chest and bought the XL size, which fits well and leaves enough room for a jumper underneath. For less than the price of a woodturner's smock you get full body coverage.

I am a farmer and have worn overalls almost every day for the last forty years I can say that the norman overalls were the worst I have ever had didn't last one day !! first the leg pocket came unstitched and it only had my phone in it then the zip broke in the second hour I did some metal work now they never clamed the overalls were flame proof but whilst doing some light angle grinding with a small hand grinder I looked down to find my leg on fire and not in a good way! told norman of this they told me I could only send them back if unworn you can draw your own conclusions

First of all I bought this boiler suit because it came up as thermal under search,it was not and actually was out of the lightes material I have seen in boilersuits. it was big enough but still managed to rip open first time i put it in the rip again when i buttoned the sleeves. I am horribly disappointed prize wise I could have got way better quality and fire proof product locally and I thought I was buying thermal. Never again!!

Material and fit is good. But the quality of stitching is not up to standard and has come apart at the knees after just 1 week of use painting my house.I can assure you it was not caught in or torn by anything and the stitching is starting to come apart in other areas too.Overall i am not satisfied and would not recommend which is a shame!

Stiching on zip came undone after first wash had to have it restiched

Fit not perfect, leg length huge, arm length slightly long, across shoulders ok but fingers crossed they don’t shrink, fit across waist, ok because of the elasticated back. Material is good, neither too thin or thick, plenty of useful pockets, and the orange detailing raises them above purely practical. If I needed another pair, I’d get the same again, but beware the shoulder width.

Legs are 6 inched too long but once shortened a good fit.No button holes at cuffs. Raised issue and got a partial refund.Had to go the expense of having the tailoring.All good now
