Did have to modify slightly to mount it. But otherwise it's doing the job.

Just what I needed
After spending a few weeks trying to diagnose what was wrong with my mower, I was PRETTY sure my starter was just too weak to turn over my engine. I figured for the price, it was worth trying this one. I just hooked it up and to my surprise the engine fired up immediately. In the past it would take my mower about 5-10 seconds to actually start up. I installed this on a 2009 Toro Timecutter 4220. Perfect fit, no modifications needed. (Just save your two mounting bolts from your current starter, because it does not include those).

Was "not" deceived by this "seller" Buyers beware, make sure of the part numbers.
Was only 2/3rds length size of original starter, had to cut both end plate screws down almost an inch, only to try and see if it would work and it did "not" engage. Being I changed the dynamics, I cannot "return" this starter. I have a Cub Cadet t1046 and the new starter was supposed to fit and replace my KH-20-098-05 Want to make clear: It was "not the sellers" fault for this problem. I a friend of the "buyer" of this starter found out the problem, the maker Cub Cadet gave the wrong part number. There was 2 different starters for this model. Buyer tried to make it fit.
