An absolute must-have tool for making wire jewellery, it’s surprising how many kinks you can get in wire either straight off the spool, or whilst you’re working with it, especially during wire weaving. Just a gentle sweep of your wire between the nylon parts manages to tame your wire without marking or marring it - just don’t clamp down too hard during use.The tool is also great for firming up your wire once it’s in position, just clamp down a couple of times & release, & your work is much more secure & that bit stronger than before (a process called “work hardening”)One word of warning to anyone new to the craft, repeatedly straightening the same section of wire will harden it considerably, leaving it extremely difficult to work with, & much less flexible, to the point where it’s unusable, so use your pliers as sparingly as possible.It wasn’t particularly clear in the description, but I’m happy to confirm that you get a spare pair of nylon parts to fit to your pliers once your existing ones start to get a bit ragged after repeated use, it’s great that these bits can be replaced rather than having to buy another set of pliers, it’s even better that a set of these spares is included.I definitely think these are an economical choice, that do the job well, & certainly worth having in your tool set.

I does what I want it to do and is strong enough for my needsThe nylon pads are not that secure and do fall off but the hold on enough to be okay.Because, Nylon and metal don't stick to each other so they have done the best they can with the design.Maybe a little smaller than I was expecting, but it's not a deal breaker.I am happy with them and fits nicely in my hand.

The good :- nice in the hand and easy to grip. Price point is good and they get to you on time.The Bad :- I wanted to use these to pull thread that I needed to remove after sewing mishaps. The old fingers aren't as nimble ya da ya da. No that couldn’t get hold of a standard piece of cotton to my horror. I had to get a diamond sharpening block out and hone them flat. Precise these are not, potential with a little work is ok. You get what you pay for.Hope that helps

As a beginner, these are brilliant fir creating bails! Well made and easy to use, these have had a lot of use, and still look new. Recommended.

Appear to be very good. Plastic jaws won't last forever but then they supplied a spare set so good thinking!

These are great! I wasn’t sure as a beginner at jewellery making if these would help - but they are excellent & extremely useful to have.They are sturdy & have a comfortable grip. They came well packaged and include spare nylon jaw covers.

Pretty much after few uses..Very disappointing...I keep putting the covers back on, but obv not what would you expect! 👎
