The Amara Beauty Facial Cleanser is fantastic! It leaves my skin incredibly soft, and I've received tons of compliments on my complexion since using it. The scent is mild but could be improved. What I love most is that it doesn't strip away natural oils, leaving my skin balanced and healthy. Highly recommend! I can't say enough about the Amara Beauty Facial Cleanser with 15% Vitamin C, Aloe Vera, Rosehip Oil & Tea Tree Oil! What a thoughtful gift from my bestie, especially since my name is Amara. I'm now completely hooked on these products. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and refreshed. I've received numerous compliments on my skin ever since I started using these products. The visible results are truly impressive. The only minor drawback is the scent. It's not overpowering, which is great, but it could be more appealing. Nevertheless, this is a small price to pay for the fantastic benefits it provides. What I truly appreciate is that it doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils, leaving it balanced and healthy.

I've been using this for two weeks starting in January 2017. I was a bit wary of spending this much on a facial cleanser, but I am immensely pleased. TLDR: I would buy it again. I have combination skin - it feels a bit too oily in the summer and a bit too dry in the winter. It is not particularly sensitive and I do not have breakouts. I'm in my early 30s so I am interested in age prevention and was attracted the vitamin C in this. The challenge for me is to find a cleanser that makes my face feel and look clean without stripping it. The cleanser itself has a kind of supple texture and foams gently, and does not have a particularly strong scent. and The scent that it does have is fresh and slightly botanical. It does not feel soapy and rinses clean. I have been washing with this cleanser 1-2x per day. Some days I use it with my Clinique sonic cleanser. The results are what I was looking for. My skin feels and looks clean but not stripped. I was having some problems with flakiness before I started using this but now that seems to have improved substantially. I wear a moderate amount of makeup (Clinique Superbalanced Silk makeup, mascara, etc) and find that this dissolves the makeup well, but I'm not sure it would do the same for heavy makeup (without using a solvent first).

This should probably not be the only product used to remove makeup, but can be used as a secondary all around cleanser. - When applying, I massage a very small amount with very little pressure all over my damp face with damp fingers and then rinse. Using small amounts of both product and water limit the possibility of getting the product in unwanted areas. Amara Organics is an excellent company, with great customer service, that produces quality, organic products that do not have a "Kitchen Sink" of ingredients. ** For those with sensitive skin or allergies, Amara Organics products are nice because you can easily identify ingredients that may be harmful to you, as opposed to competitors who may include additional ingredients, in all-in-one solutions.

I have been using this cleanser now for about 2 months, and have nothing but positive things to say about it. It is a very gentle cleanser - it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or stripped - but it does leave my skin feeling clean. This is the only cleanser that I've been able to use and accidentally forget to apply moisturizer; every other cleanser wouldn't allow me to forget because my face would feel irritated. The cleanser is not sudsy on its own. I do sometimes use this with my Foreo Luna Mini, however, and then I get suds. This has no effect on the cleanser though. What I love most about the product is that it really has helped fade minor discolorations from acne. I tend to get minor hormonal bumps and if i pick them, I'm left with hyperpigmentation. Since using this cleanser, I have no new spots on my face and one of my most troublesome spots has almost completely faded. I do still get little bumps though. The cleanser has an extremely mild scent, so if you have issues with scents, I don't think this will bother you. I use this product along with Amara Organics vitamin C serum. I've used the vitamin C serum for a much longer time. What I notice is that the vitamin C gives my face a glow and the facial cleanser fades my uneven areas. I recommend fully.

I don't typically write a review unless the product is so deserving for reasons good or bad. I had read the reviews on this product before purchasing and felt that it would be worth giving it a try. I can honestly say that I have not been disappointed. This cleanser is mild enough to not dry out your skin while keeping it feeling soft and clean throughout the day. It has minimized the look and size of pores all over my face. I used to use those expensive products that have all types of ingredients you can't pronounce, so I was overjoyed to find this product with natural ingredients which was an added benefit because I am also pregnant and like to minimize the "unknown" ingredients I am letting absorb into my body. I have seen a visible reduction in the look of the fine lines around my eyes, as well. One thing I will mention is this product does wonders to clean out your pores, so don't get discouraged if, after use, it brings some stuff to the surface. This happened to me, but it only lasted one day. After that, it was totally soft and smooth skin. I am in love with this product and will be trying their other skin care products in the future. Those of you writing that this is "the best cleanser ever made" etc. need to start using more brands, haha. It's cheap and it does work in removing a LOT of makeup though I would not say all. It's not the best by any stretch of the imagination but it's pretty decent, is what I'd say. I laughed at the conversations here between people claiming their eyes stung with this cleanser and the retailer advising not to put it in the eyes. Uh, I think people are aware of how to use soaps, though nothing on Amazon would surprise me. That said, I know what those users meant -- this particular cleanser does sting your eyes more than other cleansers do if you open your eyes at the same point with other cleansers. It feels like a tea tree oil kind of menthol-like stinging--nothing terrible but most certainly, you're inclined to close your eyes and start throwing more water on your face. If you wash your face with water about 4-5 more times than you would with other cleansers, there is no stinging. My face feels clean after using this, and I actually like it as a cleanser in my morning shower when I don't have makeup on and need to just wash my face for hygiene purposes. While not drying and seemingly simple in ingredients, it does leave your face feeling clean. For me, because I wear foundation and face powder, I don't feel like this cleanser does a great job of removing makeup. If you only wear light powder, I suppose it would be fine. But for the price and quality, I find that this particular line is a better cleanser: Acure Facial Cleansing Gel, 4 Ounce I felt the Amara Organics was a lesser copy of this product, similar in feel but lesser in scent and actual cleansing effect. While I don't use Acure Organics much anymore either, I always think of it fondly because that cleanser was nice--also more for face washing rather than makeup removing, FYI.

This is just a great product. I bought it since I was getting tired of Nuetrogena and I felt the chemicals in it were affecting my skin. I also used to use the brands that I had exfoliating particles in it, which I think was becoming too rough for my skin. I don't have acne (only when I was like 12-13 and they cleared up by the time I was 14), nor acne scars but I do have sun spots on my skin. I usually pass them off as freckles, but it's a bit awkward considering I am of African descent. That being said, I wanted something organic, light, and still helps with the sun spots and won't give me acne due to the change in product. This product met all my expectations. I was at first worried, since the facial soap was very thick. But it didn't feel oily, so that was a plus. I used it and it left my skin super moisturized without feeling greasy. Just feeling refreshed and cleansed. I didn't need the exfoliater particles any longer because I feel like it goes straight into my pores and after a month the sun spot damage has been lightening up. It's overall great product and I definitely will continue to buy it and recommend it.

It's taken me far too long to do a review on this fabulous face wash! I finally found a cleanser that I'm committed to for the long term. This face wash is rich in ingredients that appear to be healthy. Amara is not full of water like other products, so one LITTLE drop will bathe your face in a rich cleaning that feels good and creates lasting results. I originally bought this cleanser for the tea tree oil and benefits to my eyelashes and eyelids. However, I continue to use it as my skin looks great and has appeared not to age at all since I began using it. Even during chemo, my skin looked healthy and well. Another benefit is that this product lasts a long time, is made in the USA and is very affordable.

This cleanser is very nice. Unlike other cleansers/face washes, it does not leave your face feeling tight and dry, but rather soft and clean. This is the most expensive cleanser I have ever bought but I feel that the purchase was well worth my money as you only need a very small amount each time (perhaps half a pump, if that) so the decent sized bottle will last a long time. I'm trying to finish off another face wash before I get around to using this cleanser every day so I am yet to see if it improves my skin in the long term. It is reassuring to use a cleanser that contains absolutely nothing nasty and artificial. I am naturally red-haired so my skin is incredibly sensitive and it has suffered absolutely no ill-effect from this cleanser. The *only* criticisms I can give are that the smell is slightly strange (but nothing you won't get used to), it could lather slightly better, and the coconut derivatives make me feel a bit uneasy as they can clog the pores. The customer service after purchasing this product has been so friendly and it's refreshing to feel so valued. I would definitely recommend this cleanser, I think it's been made very carefully and a lot of time and energy has gone into it :-)

I bought it for my VERY sensitive skin and I am quite happy with my choice. It cleans well, skin feels fresh and is not dry, I am not allergic to the product and it goes well with the rest of my facial routine. I will buy again.

The cleanser is ok but I think that the price is enormous for what it offers, a whopping 18 pounds. There are cheaper alternatives that do basically the same thing but half price. It also leaves the skin dry so you will need a moisturizer.

Ich bin mit diesem Produkt grunsätzlich zufrieden. Allerdings ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht angemessen. Ich habe das Produkt vor ca. 1 Jahr für 19,90 bestellt. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich der Reiniger um mehr als 200% verteuert. Es gibt bessere Alternativen und ich werde es nicht mehr bestellen.

I was looking for a vegan and organic cleanser (obviously not tested on animals too, and made by a firm that wasn't linked to a scummy animal testing parent company) so thought I would give this a try. As a cleanser it is really lovely. Leaves the skin feeling fabulous. I have actually noticed a difference after only a few uses. That said I definitely wouldn't recommend this as an eye make up remover - it stung my eyes and they were a bit swollen afterwards. But it doesn't claim to be an eye makeup remover and if i had read the Q&A I would have seen that. So no aspersions cast and I haven't let that bring down the rating I have given because it is so good on my skin. I was particularly impressed with the seller. She was so helpful and very proactive, contacting me to ensure I was happy with my purchase and offering me a full refund if the product wasn't right for my sensitive skin. I didn't return it as I loved how it left my skin feeling. And it will go a long way - you don't need to use much. It foams up and removes your make up easily and smells nice too. Very happy with this purchase. And would so recommend the seller - brilliant customer service, great attitude, fab comms and a pleasure to do business with. So buy this one with confidence I'd say :-)
