A great, versatile, fan.
I purchased this fan to cool a home 5g "garbage can". I had "drop off" issues with my signal and read that the particular 5g unit I have is prone to overheating. I use this fan to keep said tower cool. I sit the 5g unit on top of this and it flows enough air to keep it cool and operating optimally. It is relatively quiet. I really don't hear it unless everything in my house is silent. My only two critiques of the unit: it is not adjustable, and I needed to purchase a USB C adapter. No big deal at the end of the day and is not a "make or break" issue. Bottom line, if you need a reliable relatively quiet fan at a reasonable price then you will be happy with this one!

It does the job well!
First, I have an Apple router that works quite well except that the internal cooling fan gave up the ghost causing the router to over heat. Instead of tearing into the bloody router to replace the fan, I decided to get this external fan and set the router on top. The fan has 3 speeds and is pretty quiet. Runs off of the router USB power connector. Has good airflow and does the job very well. Inexpensive, too. Perfect for my application. Recommend this item.

Fairly Quiet
This item was delivered to me 2 days before the target date. I have used the remote to change speeds from low to medium to high. I didn't really see any difference in the temperature of my set top box, by changing the speeds of the fan. The device makes a low humming noise which cannot be heard with the box and tv on. So, it's very quiet and obviously only operates with the tv and set top box on. So no real issues there. It has reduced the set top box temperature by 9 degrees.

Great product
They are perfect for sitting under modems or routers to keep them cool. It has 3 settings and they barely make any noise. They are smaller than they look but will get the job done if it's for flat type devices. They don't come with a plug piece though or maybe they forgot it I'm not sure. I have some so didn't need them.

Dead quiet - moves the air [EDIT update] - one of two fans died in 4 months
I bought thes for mounting in a built in desk/wall unit to exhaust air from areas where I have computer/NAS equipment. I bought 2, and they are dead quiet and exhaust quite a bit of air, drawing in air from other openings. Well pleased with these. UPDATE - One of the two fans had a bearing go out in about 4 months of use. The other remains quiet and is working well, but lowered rating after failure

SO worth it, fixed my WiFi problem
I started a work from home job in November and I have to have fast, working internet at all times. I didn’t realize how often my WiFi / internet connection went out until then. I went through so much headache with my internet provider, getting a new modem, having electric outlets checked, etc. trying to figure out what’s wrong. Turns out - modem was overheating!!! My dumb, millennial *behind* should’ve known this from the beginning… anyway. This inexpensive item fixed this problem. Small, quiet, effective, still working more than 6 months later. Money well spent!

Once you open it to clean the fan after 6 months. It won’t be reassemble again. Waste of money.
