I use body scrubs from time to time so when I saw this product I decided to try it for my face. Its a small bottle that comes with a cute small wooden spoon. You only need a little bit to rub all over your face so this small container will actually last a long time. I washed my face and put some of this product (which smells really nice) all over my face. Then I took a shower and washed it off in the process. After that it dawned on me that I should have tested this on a small part of my face and was worried that with all the rubbing of this product all over my face I was foolish not to test a small area!! Then I waited and watched and in the morning my face felt smooth and all of the oil around my nose was gone. It worked with no issues! Whew. Therefore, I'm very pleased with this product and will add it to my spa days or use it when I want to get dead skin and excess oil from around my nose and certain parts of my face.

The quantity may be limited, but the fragrance is delightful. For those with dry skin, it may exacerbate dryness. However, for individuals with oily skin, this product is highly recommended. It could also be beneficial for relaxing the skin on the body, particularly for those who enjoy spa-like treatments.

Directions say to add a few drops of water and rub until the granules dissolve. If you begin with your face wet, it works pretty well, maybe add a little more by wetting your hands. It takes 30 seconds to a minute to dissolve the crystals on your whole face. Then you wait a couple more minutes and rinse it all off. This product smells REALLY good. It almost feels a little oily when you add the water, but it washes clean and no oily residue. It feels and smells very nice afterwards. It left my skin feeling kind of warm and moist. Very nice addition to my "me-time" routine.

I'm a little leery to keep using this on my face because the grains of sugar are pretty large, and it felt pretty rough on my skin until the sugar dissolved some. The smell is pretty bad, but rose is supposed to be good for the skin; the scent does not linger at least. My skin did feel softer after use, but I might use this as a body scrub instead. The price is pretty high for a small jar. I'm on the fence over whether to recommend; would not recommend for sensitive skin surely.

If you are looking to exfoliate your skin, you've come to the right place. I tested this scrub on my hand and lower arm, just to make sure I didn't have any sort of reaction or damage before trying on my face. It sure removes the loose skin flakes and left the surface of my hand and arm very smooth and shiny. Impressed! Con: for me, the rose and sandalwood was too strong and frankly unpleasant. Others might like it, so I think it's an individual preference, but the smell was a deterrent for me. I will still try the product on my face, but I won't order it again. If you like those fragrances, go for it!

Lodhra and nagarmotha are added to give anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is very thick and comes with a tiny wooden spoon to get the little bit needed to do the job. It exfoliates while moisturizing, leaving my face soft and silky smooth. From India, the 1.76oz round container comes attractively packaged in a cardboard box with ‘wax’ seal.
