## Description

Congratulate or wish someone a happy birthday with a beautifully decorated cake! It's easy to print a message using the 88-Piece Wilton Letter/Number Press Set. Imprint personalize messages on buttercream or fondant cakes with interchangeable letter, number and symbol tiles. And then, simply trace over it with a decorating bag and tip. To use: Place the tiles in reverse order in the holder when using letters, numbers and symbols. They need to be in the mirror image of the final design. Slide tile pieces to the holder and slide the flip locks on either side to secure tiles on the holder. With very light pressure, press design onto the side or top of cake to leave a slight impression. With a decorating bag and desired top, pipe over design. When using buttercream, let the icing crust 15 to 20 minutes to make imprinting easier. Before first and after each use, wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with soft cloth. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the size of the letters?**
A: The letters are 2.5 cm high and the wide depends on the letter, it's different for an I than for an A.

**Q: Can this work on regular store bought icing?**
A: If it is buttercream icing and you let it set up or crust( touch it and it doesn't leave a dent), then yes.  If it is soft icing out of a can, they usually don't crust, then I would' try it.  Experimenting can be fun though.  Spread your icing on a smooth surface( cake board, cookie sheet) and try it.  If it doesn't come up clean, then it probably won't work on a cake.  Hope this helps.

A: It looks like it holds 5 letters at a time
