For use with a Dexcom CGM, do you totally cover the sensor/transmitter with flexifix, or do you cut it to just go over the sensor's adhesive?

Hi, I use mine on the miinmed CGM sensor transmitter. I cover the adhesive, sensor, and transmitter completely with the tape. IT keeps the setup secure and it provides an extra layer of protection in the shower etc. I cut to pieces long enough to cover the set up. For me it take two overlapped pieces to cover everything.

Is the opsite flexigrid & the opsite flexifix the same material with the only difference being the size and shape of the product?

Not sure what you are referring to! This is a medicated tape. You cut the size you need and peel back the first layer, the sticky side goes on wound. And than peel last layer off.

I've found it very hard to separate the film from the tape -- has anyone found an easy way to remove the top film once the tape is applied?

Before peeling off the side that goes on your skin, lift up a little bit of the corner (s) of the top tape so that it'll be easier to peel that too. For the top tape, I peel a little bit from the middle seam (not from the outer edge)

How do I easily remove this tape? I used it on my child to help keep his insulin pod on. It works great. My adhesive remover did not help remove it.

Adhesive remover is not a good choice. You have to remove it just like tape, find a corner and pull it up. If that doesn't work try to remove the device it's helping to secure. I've never had any problems removing the tape but it is sometimes difficult to get it started. Stay with it because it's very good at securing my CGM
