Syringe feeding this food helped keep my cat alive and gave a good couple of months when her heart began to fail, it helped her keep her strength and up until her last week she always opted for jumping up onto my bed from the floor rather than using any of the pet stairs or makeshift pet stairs I set up specifically so she wouldn't have to jump up to get onto my bed. The food is good for a sick kitty

This product saved my cats life. Highly recommend if your feline is sick. Within a week of syringe feeding and letting him lick the powder, he began to eat again and had bowel movement.

My cat battled gastro lymphoma for 10 months and at month 6 he started to rapidly lose weight due to his low appetite. His oncologist shared this product with us and it helped immensely alongside Tomlyn Calorie Gel for cats. These 2 products helped my sweet kitty to gain almost 2 pounds in 2 months which helped him stay comfortable and happy during his brave battle. I found it easiest to give with a 60cc pointed syringe mixed to a lava flow like slurry. I calculated the calories needed to get him to the next pound and gave about 6 scoops per day in the last 1.5 months of his life. This is truly a great product. High calorie, easily digestible, and not irritating for sensitive stomach kitties.

The poor rating is not because it's a bad product. My 15 lb cat in recovery from vomiting and diarrhea and cannot eat his favorite dry food as a result will not touch this even with Churru on top to entice him. I most hoped the claim this would aid his diarrhea would help him. He will eat other pastes. I also tried different consistencies. For more information the package lists what amount of scoops to use and the weight of the package but not how many scoops are in the package. There are approx 24 scoops per bag so for a 15 lb cat this is three days at the recommended dosage per package according to instructions.

Well I did not get to use this cause my cat passed away.. it’s a small bag I would not call this a bag.. a snack bag at that.. so I can’t actually rate

My vet recommended this high calorie healthy product for my elderly hospice cat. I've been using it now for a couple months and it has helped keep weight on him. I would recommend it for anyone needing a food supplement for their ailing cat.
