Comfort, durability, compact. *****
One of the best camping chairs out there. I'm always shopping for a good chair. Seems like you can never find the right combination of comfort, portability and durability. I use this chair all the time, it's been borrowed by friends, lives in the bed of my truck and still going. A couple of the rivets holding the legs broke off, was annoyed and looked up when I bought chair, it was 6 years ago! With Heavy use and I'm 250#s and my friends not small either. 50c later from hardware store and good as new. What sets this one apart: - sturdy and firm. Doesn't wobble around. Gives great support. - feet on legs, are adjustable to keep chair level, and doesn't sink into ground. - locking mechanism keeps it solid when open (fun to watch people to try to close it up) and secure when closed. No need to struggle to get back in bag, lock it close and carry with strap. - study cup holds. Have multiple chairs where cup holds tore, these still hold cups! - taller and supportive. No bar in ur back or but, little lean, but not too much. Overall Great chair, 6 years in and still going

Comfortable, portable and well made.
My wife and I really like these Chairs. They are easy to close up and are very comfortable. I highly recommend them. A word of caution and advice. I left my chair outside in the hot Texas sun too many times and my previous chair split. This was my fault and I learned a valuable lesson and to read the manufacturer's label. So, this was a replacement chair. They come with a cover that also has a carry sling (note the chairs also have a carry sling). very portable for camping and outdoor sports events (like grandkids soccer games).

Easy to open/close and very comfortable
These chairs are easy to open/close and very comfortable to sit in. I am 5'4" and 150lbs, not tiny bit not huge either, just normal. I got these chairs to replace my old school bag chairs after sitting in my sister's flat bottom style bag chair - SOOOO much better than the old saggy bottom and slouchy back style. Totally worth the money if you're going to be spending a lot of time in one - like camping or at kids athletic games like I am. I did read the reviews and after having used them 3-4 times a week for a month I really haven't noticed any fraying or wear/tear. I am also treating them fairly nicely since at $42 each they aren't exactly cheap for my family. I try to take care of things that I want/need to last a long time. Anyway, the material is sturdy and comfortable to sit on in shorts or even a wet bikini (which is something to note as old style bag chairs really suck to have your skin on and some mesh fabrics are abrasive). They open and lock which I love because I'm constantly piling my stuff on the chair and dragging it all to another field or campsite so that it doesn't collapse while being carried is very nice feature - plus it is safer and more stable when kids are climbing all over them like they do. I really like that the arms are wide like old style bags so that your whole arm is comfortable. The two cup holders are big enough for a stainless thermal 12oz wine cup to fit which is great - any can, bottle or yeti type tumbler will fit too. There is a good size misc bag/pouch attached to the bottom of the seat on one side which is great as it kind of hides whatever you stuck in there out of plain sight - it fit my iPhone 8, 10oz tube of sunscreen and 5oz stick sunscreen with room for more. The bag is a sturdy canvas and the right size so it's easy to put over the collapsed chair - you wont feel like you are fighting the bag. The shoulder strap fits over the chair back so it wont get lost or blow away. I wanted the aqua/turquoise color but it wouldn't arrive on time so we got the royal blue which is nice and vivid. So far I am very happy with the chairs and definitely suggest them if you are looking to upgrade to the flat bottom bag style chair without spending $60+ per chair. I will continue to keep in mind that some have had wear/tear issues and endeavor to treat them nicely.

Critical Dimensions to help you decide if this chair will fit your body
This chair is indeed VERY comfortable as reported by many reviews. My purpose here is to provide some detailed measurements to help you decide if this chair will fit your body. And at the bottom, I will report a few quirks. The total front seat width is not very informative. The key measurement is the distance between the seat's front vertical metal support bars, which is 19 inches. That is the MAXIMUM thigh width for this chair. But I am not suggesting 19 inch wide thighs when seated will be a comfortable fit. You don't want your thighs to be against the vertical metal support rods, nor resting on the underlying metal support bars. The distance between the inner stitches on the front seat fabric is 17.5 inches and that I believe at or near the maximum thigh width which will be comfortable in this chair. If your thighs are bigger, you may want to consider the XL version of this chair. (My old cheap camping chair was only 15 inches between the front plastic grommets around the vertical front seat supports and this was not comfortable. The additional 2.5 inches makes all the difference for me and my thighs.) The distance from the center of the front seat to the floor is 20 inches. However, when I sit in the chair, that distance is 17 inches. Your weight will affect this measurement. (I am approx. 160 lbs.) If your lower leg is 17 inches (or more) from heal (of your shoes) to the bottom of your seated thighs, you will probably be able to sit in this chair with your feet flat on the floor or ground. If that distance is less than 16 inches, your feet most likely will not rest flat on the ground. (My inseam is 29 or 30 inches. If your inseam is less than 29 inches, your feet may not rest flat on the ground in this chair. ) The seat back is 23 inches high as measured from the seat to the top of the back. There is a fabric seam where the mesh meets the top horizontal fabric at approx. 17.5 to 18 inches above the seat. When you first sit in this chair, you probably will not notice this seam, but after sitting awhile, I notice it because it hits at my shoulder blades. This is minor, but I am hoping the seam softens with repeated use. The chair back is approx. 22 inches wide at the top. The distance between the metal rods at the top of the seat back is 20.5 inches. My shoulders are also 20.5 inches wide, so I fit comfortably. (I am a 5 foot 9 inch male with a long upper back and wear a Medium size shirt and have a 42 inch chest.) If you are much bigger, you may want to consider the XL version of this chair. The inner diameter of the smaller cup holder is 3 inches. (Fits a can of beer or soda.) The inner diameter of the larger cup holder is 3.5 inches. (Fits my old 32 oz Contigo water bottle or my Costco Thermoflask, but only if I remove the rubber base.) The bottom of the cup holders are mesh and they are very flexible and that makes the depth measurement difficult. I would say both are about 4 inches deep. Final observations: This chair makes noises when you sit down on it. Some described it as a farting noise. To me, it is more like fabric stretching noises and creaking noises. I am hoping those diminish with use and wear. Some lubrication might help but I have not tried that yet. This chair is long when folded up (a little over 43 inches). That is over 3.5 feet. And it is not super compact. It is a little awkward to pack and carry, but I do like the strap on the chair so you have that option to carry it without the bag strap. Lastly, approx. 8 inches below the top upright back support rods, which are covered by fabric, there are metal connectors to the "X" support rods at the rear, behind the fabric. Those connectors poke though the fabric and can be felt if your shoulders are wide and / or your lats are well developed (20 inches or more width). I consider this a design flaw. I found a solution on-line: A recommendation to cut pieces of a pool noodle and shove them up inside the fabric loops that go around the upright back support rods. I had some expanded polystyrene foam packaging material (similar to foam packaging peanuts) and stuffed them into the open loops, making sure the foam covered the metal connectors at the bottom of each loop. This worked pretty well, but it takes some trial and error to get it right. Overall, a very good, very comfortable chair if you can get past the quirks. I hope this was helpful.

Perfect portable outdoor chairs
These are our go-to chairs for outdoor activities. They've been used to watch many high school tennis matches. We also pull them out when we have guests outside for extra seating. Everyone comments on how comfortable they are. Nice and wide, comfortable on the legs, back, arms. They are also super sturdy and relatively easy to fold and carry or stash in the car, although a smidge heavy. I'd rather have a little heavy chair than one I'm afraid might break when I sit in it!

Breathable for your back. Legs lock. Super comfortable. Totally worth it.
We've had cheaper camping chairs in the past and after our last two broke on us we figured it was time to spend a little more for a more quality product. Two friends that we camp a lot with already have two of these, and we really liked a bunch of the features their chairs have: • Locking legs • A breathable, perforated non-solid back so that you don't sweat all over it • arm-rest sides do not fall down • carry strap on the chair so if you don't have the sleeve it fits into you can still put it over your shoulder These are robustly built. They snap open and the legs snap and lock. On our old chairs, the arm rest sides had these rubber rings that wore out and the arm rest area near the elbows would drop down towards the seat area, so your arms were never supported. When the legs snap to lock on these it keeps tension on the arm support areas so you can rest your arms horizontally and nothing feels like it's going to move down on you. It's very comfortable. There are two different sized drink holders; one side is for smaller cans of soda or bottles. The other side is larger so it can hold your big water bottle, or mug, or larger containers. There is a little square-ish sized pocket that hangs down to the side so you can put your phone or whatever in it. Lots of great storage on this chair. The only downside is that my wife is petite and if she sits far back into the chair her little legs dangle over the front and her feet can't touch the ground. I find it funny, and it doesn't really bother her, but I'm grasping at straws to find faults with this. Otherwise I can't - these are great camping chairs. Now that we have these we should be all set on camping chairs for a long, long, long time. We've had others that have fallen apart on us. These were a little more money, but in the long run it will be worth it because we won't need another chair for a long time. Totally worth it. Get these. They come in all sorts of different colors. Happy camping!

great chair
I have been through several folding chairs over the last 15 years. They get tossed around in the back of our truck, dropped on the soccer field, jumped in and on, taken to the beach, left in the rain ... you name it. Typically an arm becomes detached within the first few weeks, then one of the screws comes off holding the top/back piece of fabric to the post, and then it gets saggy, and rips, and the carrying case becomes one thread shy of a disaster when trying to carry the chairs, a cooler, and children off the soccer field. I have had this chair since December and it has held up to the busiest time of our season. It has already been through the rain, in and out of my car multiple times of day to each kids' practice, has been used as a horse by a rambunctious 6 year old, and held 5 teen-aged girls who were shivering in the cold and thought together they would keep each other warm. with the exception of a seam on the arm looking like it's about to give, the chair is still in great condition. even the carrying bag looks great! ... and I haven't even begun to tell you how much more comfortable it is to sit in. since the seat locks, it doesn't sag and my back doesn't hurt after sitting thru a practice in it. I will definitely be using this brand again. UPDATE: Here is it, September of 2015 and I am STILL using my chair. I originally bought 2 - both of them lost a bolt attaching a crossbar to a leg, but this didn't make the chair unstable or unusable. About a month ago, a bolt holding a supporting bar for an armrest fell out, making that chair difficult (but not impossible) to use. my husband swears he will get around to fixing it. the other chair is still going strong. The carrying sleeves have lasted longer than any other I have used. both are ripped at the bottom, but are still holding the chair in place. The only complaint that I have is something that has gone on all along, but I didn't really notice until another user of this brand commented on it ... it's a noisy chair (haha). because the seat is pulled so tightly, to avoid sagging, when a person moves or shifts position in the chair, it squeaks. you can hear the fabric rubbing against the rods. minimal, but noticeable when you're on a quiet sideline. still not enough for me to take any stars away - it is still the longest lasting and highest quality quad chair I have owned,.

Amazing chair!
My husband and I splurged a little and bought two of these for camping. We love them! He loves that it is a slightly higher, wider chair that offers a lot of support. It is a bit high for me to sit with my legs down, but I love that it is a bit wider because I usually sit with one or both legs under me anyway, so it is very comfortable for that. The colours are very fun (I got purple; he got blue). Because of the great way they sit when opened, they don't fold up with the legs even, so you can't leave them to stand alone when collapsed. They do open up and collapse easily though. They are also a bit longer when collapsed then other brands, but we are happy to accommodate both of those things because they are wonderful chairs to sit and relax in.

solida, comoda
