Otherwise the way the line is built very well. I would notice it start to thin out and ware out well before it would ever snap and just tie a knot in the line to prevent it from snapping. Finally I retired because the line was so short from doing this so much. If I wanted to, I could repair it and replace the line but I have a second so I did not. The metal case is very nice and the internals are all built well. Others I have bought just explode after 6-12 months. Or the line would snap and there would be no way to open it up and fix it.
