I like the turtle wax reputation and value for the money. This was easy to apply and buff off to get the protection and shine I like on my cars.

Great product! A testament of this product's capability to preserve an automobile's finish is its ability to maintain older vehicles. As you can see, my newest vehicle is a 2005 that sits outside under a carport in Arizona. I wax it every 6-months - it still has a very nice shine. The older pickup is a 1997 with original paint. It too is waxed every 6-months and also shines well. Below is the method I use. For a daily driver, try this - I often get complements about my vehicle's shine. Note – Per Turtle Wax published SDS: Hard Shell Paste Wax contains 1-5% Kaolin Clay (By weight) Hard Shell Liquid contains 8-12% Kaolin Clay (By weight), so it is more abrasive than the paste wax. Equipment - Variable-speed electric polisher. Wool buffing bonnet (Genuine 3M, double-sided.) Bonnet spur Soft towel Process – Tape off adjacent black plastic trim to protect it from the wax. Apply Turtle Wax to the wool bonnet and begin waxing the vehicle. You will see the wax create a film on the panel. Once you have the panel glazed, keep polishing and the glaze will disappear - leaving a silky-smooth surface. Eventually, as the Turtle Wax accumulates on the wool bonnet, you can advance to the next panel and begin waxing without adding Turtle Wax to the bonnet - as friction will flow the wax from the wool bonnet onto the painted surface. Once you are finished waxing with the electric polisher go over the vehicle again with a soft towel. Clean the wool bonnet with the spur. Wax your vehicles with this method every 6-months and fine surface scratches will be removed.

I've used turtle wax products since I started driving, which has been a couple decades. I've tried some other brands, but always come back to turtle. Anyways, this is a decent wax but not one that Ill use as a primary one. I use this about one a year, usually before the AZ summer sets in. The things I don't like about this wax, when compared to others, is you can't use it in direct sunlight, it can be a pain if it gets on plastic trim (e.g. Mirrors, wheel wells, etc.), and it takes some extra effort when buffing. Outside of that, I think it's a good protection for your car. However, now that my summertime coat of this has been applied, I'll be moving back to using turtle wax ice. It is much more convenient and quicker to apply.

PASTE WAX. WAY TO GO IVE USED THEM ALL AND BASIC CLEANER WAX IS THE BEST THING FOR THE NORMAL CARS WHICH ARE EXPOSED TO THE ENVIRONMENT EVEN IF THE VEHICLE IS GARAGED. CLEANER IS A KEY WORD AS THIS TYPE OF WAX WILL REMOVE SOME DIRT AND STAINING WHEREAS WAX ONLY WILL JUST GO OVER DIRT LOOKING LIKE IT WAS COVERED . IVE BEEN WAXING MOTOR CYCLES, CARS, BOATS SINCE I WAS 15 . IM 67 NOW. PLENTY OF EXPERIENCE. I USED TO USE KIT OR RALLY WITH SIMILAR RESULTS. IM NOT SAYING THE NEW CERAMICS ARE NOT GOOD BUT THEYRE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE AND QUITE FRANKLY I THINK THE TURTLE LASTS LONGER. 🤙

Give your car a sparkly new showroom shine! Just make sure you follow directions. I used a very soft damp cloth to apply the wax and used another dry one to buff it to a very nice shine. I used "Meguiar's X4000 Yellow Microfiber Towels" http://amzn.com/B0009IQZH0 Don't have the cloth remain too wet otherwise the wax will run. Dampen a cloth in a bowl of water and squeeze gently to get most runny water out of it, then it will be perfect. You don't have to wait too long after applying the wax to start buffing. You only were supposed to do one section at a time, i.e., do the roof, wait 2-3 min then buff, do the driver's side door, wait 2-3 min then buff, do the right rear door, etc. you get the idea. Wait about 2-3 minutes after applying the wax in a circular motion. As far as how much to use, you just have to "feel" it. You'll know when it's too little or too much. I apply pretty liberally. Then, just "buff till you drop" to buff it up to a nice shine. It took me about an hour to do the job on a mid-sized four door sedan. I used about 1/3rd of the bottle, so I think I have enough for two more full car waxes. That's a pretty good deal. You can also rinse out the cloths you used and use them again. The waxy liquid stuff rinses out pretty well. PS.: I dont' know what some other reviewers were complaining about regarding spilling the liquid if you're not careful. I haven't lost a drop and the cap seals fine. Opening and closing it doesn't spill anything...

I've been using Turtle wax for over twenty years and it has never disappointed. It is very easy to use, just shake, apply a little wax, spread evenly and wipe in a circular motion. The shine is brilliant. And the shine lasts for months. I strongly recommend this Turtle Wax. And the price was very reasonable. Delivery was right on time. I couldn't be happier.
