Desert Essence, Thickening Shampoo, Green Apple and Ginger, 8 oz

I have used this for many years, lathers nicely,vrinses well. I have sensitive skin. It's organic, smells so nice, I use it as a body wash and shampoo. Safe on little ones. Everything I use is organic in body care. I recommend this. No drying, no itchy scalp, washes hair well, removes oils, products, however I do not use hair sprays or shine creams. You don't need to with this product.

this is my husband's favorite shampoo. He always requests I get the shampoo I love the smell of the green apple it cleans his hair really thoroughly. while I love the smell of the shampoo I tend to have dryer hair and I find the shampoo does not work so well for me I prefer the coconut smelling shampoo that has more moisturizers in it. My husband's scalp tends to get a little greasy and with his work floor sanding this just does a great job cleaning his hair and he really loves the smell so if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I have oily, thin, shoulder length hair, and I love this product. It doesn't weight my hair down or make it super dry. I do use a tiny dot of conditioner at the ends and sides to keep fly-aways at bay. The smell is also really good and not too strong. I've actually gone a few times without washing my hair for a day, and my hair is still manageable and not too greasy. I'm on my second bottle now, and the first one probably lasted almost 2 months. Great product and definitely recommend for my hair type.

This is an excellent volumizing shampoo for my fine wavy hair which I wash 3 times a week. This product creates lots of body in my hair without making it look frizzy or flyaway. It has natural ingredients and a very mild and fresh fragrance that doesn't linger like air pollution, nor does the scent cause any sensitivity for me (whereas strong and artificial fragrances do). The shampoo is thick and a little goes a long way. Excellent value for the price. There isn't anything I don't like about this shampoo, so I'm happy to recommend it highly to others with fine hair. By the way, the matching conditioner is also excellent for fine hair which needs both protection and body.

Smells good, and works like magic, but for those with a bit strong waviness in their hair, which gets tangled after drying and when brushing, i recommend using a conditioner on the tips, or argan oil, to help make combing easier
