I ordered an XL (one size up from my normal) and it fits well. I have about a 44 chest and take a 44 regular suit jacket, if that gives you any guidance on size. I'm 5'10" and about 195 lbs. I have 6ft and 166lbs and size M was a very good fit for me, see pictures. It's not very snug on my chest, but that is high I like it, the consequence is that is will flap a little bit when you ride (see my second picture showing a gap where my arms are bended like they would be in the bike), but I still prefer like this (I just need to protect my nipples, or open the jersey, during long rides).
