Beautiful, soft bristled brush with a clean wood handle (no logos) - exactly what I was looking for. I originally purchased this brush to engrave/carve my daughters name into; as a functional keepsake item... But what single mother has time to do anything involving a power tool (even a dremel)? 😅 My daughter has very, very fine hair... But a lot of it. This brush does wonders for her where other synthetic fiber brushes fail. She gets really awful bed head that other brushes don't help with, yet one swoop with this little brush gets rid of every single crease and crimp. Apparently it has something to do with the way natural hair grows; each hair has multiple follicles that "catch" the hair on your head in a way that your average soft bristle synthetic brush would not. However, this brush probably will not work well for babies or children with thicker hair and is unlikely to help with tangles. It's worth trying it with some detangling spray though. I have not run into tangling issues yet, so I can't say. I will also say: the bristles will come out if pulled/tugged. My daughter got ahold of it one day and had a mouth full of goat hair... Haha. However, I have not had any issues of them falling out while brushing her hair. I'd say that any brush made of natural bristles will have this problem, as synthetic bristles are molded in such a way that allows for a "bulb" (or larger piece) to be attached at the end, which secures it better. Since this brush is not only goat hair, but also wooden.... That makes it pretty difficult; not only do the bristles lack any moldable pieces, but the handle is solid wood, so it's not easy to drill a hole for pulling the bristles through. Ive never actually made a brush so this is all theory, as I've worked with epoxy, plastic, wood, and other materials in making jewelry, accessories, toys and am a 3D artist who has worked for companies to create functional industrial models and parts to be 3D printed. With that in mind: This could (technically) be achieved by slicing the handle, pulling the bristles through, gluing, then also gluing the back piece in place (over the bristle backs).... But then you'd have other issues and it wouldn't be as attractive. Most people prefer beauty to functionality. Its a $5 brush. Most cost over double that and have the same exact issue. I'm very happy with my purchase. I came back here to buy an extra for her and one for myself (to use as a facial brush). This brush is made with real/natural wood and goat hair - there's no doubt about that. (I can't believe I've written this long of a review over a $5 baby brush.... Oh how the mighty fall)

Brushing my baby's hair with this brush is an absolute pleasure. It glides through his hair. He apparently enjoys it too, because he'll grab it and try to brush his own hair. It's very soothing. The bristles are softer than I expected, and definitely softer than other baby brushes I've used before. I also like the solid wooden handle instead of plastic. The bristles are so soft that it probably wouldn't be stiff enough for detangling the hair of an older child, but for a baby or toddler it's perfect. Some reviewers say the brush smells like a goat, but it smells fine to me, even when used on wet hair. I even pulled it out while writing this review and sniffed it but couldn't smell anything. Other reviews have mentioned that the brush loses some bristles while being used. I've noticed the same thing but don't consider it a defect, but just part of using a goat hair brush. Other natural bristle brushes I've used in the past also lost bristles. I think it's just part of having a product with natural, soft, slippery fibers, versus plastic that can be melted into place. A hair or two might come out of the brush while you use it, but there are so many fibers in the brush, you'd have to have to use this brush on a lot of babies before you ran out of bristles. For that reason, I still give it a five out of five. If the occasional dropped bristle bothers you or if you're hypersensitive to smells, something synthetic might be better for you. Other than that, if you want a brush that's unbelievably soft, this is it. If I ever need another baby brush, I'll definitely buy this one again.

Bought this when my child was an infant! Super soft and helped keep hair tidy. Eventually the bristles started showing age/wear so I bought a new one. Doesn’t pull hair nor pull on knots/tangles as it brushes hair from the surface, which I appreciate as my child has thin hair. Will keep replacing periodically until their hair is thick enough for a different style brush/comb.

Gentle, soft bristle . Good for new born cradle cap

This baby brush is so soft and gentle on my daughter’s scalp! I started using it when she was a newborn, and now at 9 months old she still enjoys having her hair brushed with it. The goat bristles are incredibly soft and helped a lot with dry skin and mild cradle cap without irritating her sensitive skin. I also love the wooden handle — it feels sturdy and high quality compared to cheaper plastic brushes. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and makes a thoughtful baby shower or registry gift. Definitely one of those simple baby items we ended up using every day!

This wooden baby hair brush is of excellent quality. The soft goat bristles have a lovely appearance and are very gentle on a newborn's scalp. It's perfectly sized for portability and is extremely easy to use. It works great regardless of hair thickness and is a breeze when it comes to ease of cleaning.

Je suis très satisfaite de cette brosse pour bébé Molylove. Elle correspond parfaitement à mes attentes : les poils sont extrêmement doux et adaptés à la peau délicate d’un bébé. Le fait qu’elle soit en poils de chèvre naturels est un vrai plus pour moi, car c’est un élément rassurant lorsqu’il s’agit de l’utiliser sur mon enfant. La brosse est souple, agréable à utiliser et respecte bien le cuir chevelu. Je l’utilise depuis que mon enfant était bébé et il a aujourd’hui presque 3 ans : la brosse est toujours en parfait état. Elle a donc très bien résisté dans le temps malgré une utilisation régulière. Un produit simple, de qualité et durable, qui a parfaitement rempli son rôle. Je la recommande aux parents qui recherchent une brosse douce et adaptée aux tout-petits.

Um den Milchschorf von unserem kleinen auf schonende Weise „wegzubürsten“ ohne ihn zu verletzten und dafür ist sie perfekt, da sie wirklich nur die ohnehin losen Stückchen wegbürstet. Wir sind daher happy und der kleine genießt seine Wellness Einheiten auch!

LOVE this baby brush, definitely a must have item! I was gifted another brush during my baby shower that felt like a scrub brush, I couldn't bring myself to use it on my baby. So I searched Amazon for a super soft baby brush and this goat bristle hairbrush did not disappoint. SUPER soft and works well. Would definitely recommend!
