GloFish Aquarium Gravel, Black With Fluorescent Accents, 5 lbs

Nice gravel, easy to clean and did not experience any coloring coming off the gravel when I cleaned it. It’s beautiful in my aquarium especially when the light hits it. Good price and size for my 10 gallon tank.

Look very nice with the colorful decorations and fish. Mostly black, minimal color like we wanted.

I absolutely love this GloFish aquarium gravel! The vibrant neon colors really pop under the blue LED lights, and they instantly made my tank look more lively and exciting. My GloFish seem to enjoy it too—it adds such a fun and cheerful vibe to their environment. The gravel is a great size—not too big or small—so it’s easy to clean and doesn’t trap waste like some others do. It also settled quickly in the tank with no cloudy water. I mixed a couple of different colors together and it turned out amazing! If you’re looking to create a glowing, colorful underwater world, this gravel is a must-have. Highly recommend!

For my 55 gallon tank I got away with 45 pounds of gravel, all from this seller. I bought 3 bags of black gravel with neon colors, 1 bag of just neon color gravel, 2 bags of black and white gravel, and 3 bags of just black gravel and mixed them all in the bottom of the tank. With each bag being 5 pounds, this came out To 45 pounds, I found online that it’s recommended to have 1-2 pounds per gallon but that would have been up to 110 pounds of gravel and this is some of the most reasonable, attractive gravel I found so this was around $50 on gravel when it could have been around $300-400 as I was finding 1 pound bags elsewhere to be $7-8 each but got these 5 pound bags for $3-5 each. I didn’t want too much neon (glow in the dark) gravel because I knew I also wanted glow in the dark accessories and fish and didn’t want to over do it but the picture does it no justice. It’s much more glow in the dark than picture will allow under blue light. There are 2 floating fake jellyfish that are also glow in the dark but you can’t really see because of glare from blue light but trust me, it’s beautiful. I bought 45 pounds just to start with and planned on buying more but this is the perfect amount! I just emptied each bag 1 at a time into a bowl and rinsed and drained twice with no problems

I actually love the color combination in this gravel I will say that we had to sip this over 8 times each and rinse it before it was clean we ended up with an entire sandwich bag full of loose gravel that we sifted out I am going to use this around my planner so I'm not mad about it however it's just the point that we lost that much gravel I also do not like that it is painted so there are some rocks that you can tell the paint coming off I don't know how this will last a long run we did not have anything extra in our gravel that wasn't supposed to after rinsing it it was perfect it is really nice looking in our backlight I'm not super thrilled about the paint missing but it's really beautiful either way I wish I could have just ordered one bag instead of being mandated to do to

The right amount of color to black. Love that it has orange, yellow, blue, green, and pink color. Took 3 bags to fill my 50 gallon tank which is more tall than it is long/deep. I washed the rocks prior to putting them in the tank. Not much dust came off, but would still recommend doing it.

Just what I needed

This product is very beautiful, the pink color make my fish tank so bright.

I don't understand why there is silica (cancerogenic) in gravels. What about kids putting in their mouth (it has already happened to me 1 day after using it) and fish.

Don't buy. I cleaned it as directed and within 5 minutes every single one of my fish were DEAD!!!!!! absolutely disgusted with this product!!!!
