I just received this product and the date code say 02/09. The directions say the microbe numbers will be reduced if the product is past the date code?

I'M NOT QUALIFIED TO DISCUSS THIS ISSUE. But it is clear that the product has lost some efficacy, per the label. First contact the seller for a refund, not ethical sale. And then contact Espoma in New Jersey, for guidance on whether or not to use it...

Can I use this with my herbs?

I don't know as there is no specific prohibition on the bottle. I would check with the company to be sure.

How many bottles in this order?

There is suppose to be 2 bottles per order. If you do not receive 2 bottles, let the seller know. They will either have to refund your money or send you the second bottle.
