Good for boiling rice, making quick curries or an elaborate Biriyani. The wide base gives an even cooking to whatever you are making and the pressure helps it to cook faster. My mom has been using the Prestige brand for over 25 years now and she swears by this product LOL ! Perfect for a family of 4.

**Q: how many Liters is this 2.4, 4 or 5?**
A: The pan itself can hold 3.75 liters, I am not sure if you measure the volume of the lid as well. If you do measure the volume in the lid I would say 5 lts. High dome lid. Love this pressure pan!!

**Q: need gasket for this type pf pressure pan**
A: Not sure what is being asked - the original gasket comes with the pressure pan or, if a replacement is needed, it can be found on Amazon.
