Hallmark Snoopy Christmas Ice Skating Snowglobe

My daughter wanted a snowglobe for Christmas and is also a fan of "The Peanuts Gang." I thought this was such a cute snow globe and perfect price.

For the money, this is a great snowglobe...it has some decent weight and the characters are spot on. It brings back great memories of childhood Christmases!

Good news, this solves both!The snowglobe comes packed in a precisely cut styrofoam shell, inside a comfortably sized box, and should arrive safely in every case unless it is dropped a mile out of the sky. The painting on the characters inside looks even cleaner than in the product photos, and the detail is definitely on-point. There is a bunch of "snow" inside, so only a gentle shake or two is needed to enjoy this item. This globe is sized larger than the smallest ones available in the Hallmark stores near me, but also smaller than the "standard" sized ones. It's kind of a hard to describe medium size, but fits perfectly on a shelf with other small snowglobes. Its size and quality makes it a perfect center or end display item on a shelf.

The first one was delivered in a box placed in a crunched-up box via the USPS. The globe was smashed to pieces. I returned it and with much hesitation I asked for another. This one was fine. It is very peanuts and small. I am not sure it is worth the money but I liked it

Hallmark used to go above and beyond, seems no longer. The piece is OK but cheaply made chineseium packed in a crap wholesale box and sold at retail. I got the red one. The deliverer left it on the other side of the gate instead of setting it in the yard and didn't make enough noise so we had no idea till the next morning. I was glad it was not frozen solid.Hallmark along with most of those other companies with long-lasting reputations for quality are one by one selling us crap made by others and mass-marketed at places like Amazon and Walmart Choking out actual decorative art and quality bric-a-brac
