Jabra Active Corded Headset - Ear set - Retail Packaging - Yellow (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Bear with me, as I have purchased this item 3 times now. I love these, and I have multiple reasons why...My first pair, I bought "used" from Amazon just to try them out. This was a mistake. Mainly because the ear pieces in the first "version" of these headphones came off easily when they weren't in use. You'd put them in your pocket, and when you took them out, the ear pieces were always missing. No matter how careful you were. But the sound reproduction and call quality was awesome, so I suffered with this design flaw right up until I lost them on a trip.Then, knowing the quality of sound, decided to purchase these new - and this was definitely a fantastic decision. The second pair appeared to be a "version 2.0" of the headset, with a redesigned ear piece that never fell off accidentally. Put them in your jean pockets, yank them out again, no problem. The rubber they are now using is "stiffer" in the core, and more flexible on the edges. Much smarter design. Again, sound quality for speaking and music was wonderful. These are not super "bassy" speakers, but they do great for calls, movies and most music.And then tragedy struck, as they were put though the washing machine. When my wife told me she found them in the washer, we both took a long moment of silence to morn the loss. I tossed them in a bag of rice, just in case, and then jumped on Amazon and bought my third pair.When I got my third pair, I put them on and confirmed their last design was still fantastic, and working great. I then went back to the washed pair, pulled them out of the rice, and gave them a go "just in case". Surprisingly, they worked!! Talk about a fantastic design. I was so shocked. And compared to the brand new pair I just got, there wasn't any distortion or quality degradation.Well - let me tell you - this sealed the deal for me. These are fantastically designed and rock solid headphones for those of you who don't like isolated fit headphones. They wear comfortably for hours on end, and are a real pleasure to use. I highly recommend this product, and (as proven) would definitely purchase them again, and again, and again... ;)

I purchased this earset to hook to my Motorola Droid X phone, so I could listen to music when running. Well I just want to say it has an awesome sound!!! The frequency range is 17-22kHz which is pretty darn good! It did take a little while to figure out how to change the ear gels, and find the right one that fit my ear, and also to get adept at fitting it in. But the instructions were pretty good... it just takes a couple practices to get it right. I like that they don't go all the way into my ear canal. The gels hold them securely by fitting to your ear cartilage, so they won't fall out. I tested this by running, and they stayed put! They also are sweatproof/waterproof, which is essential for a runner.I had someone call my phone while playing music. The Droid X paused the music and sent the ringtone and call through to the Jabra. The caller said that the mic sounded great. It has noise reduction (which Jabra is one of the best at accomplishing!), and the sound on both ends of the call was very clear! The mic is located on the wire close to your mouth, which really helps. I was really worried when I ordered these that they would not work well w/ the Motorola Droid X. But all the buttons work perfectly as they should. The volume slider works, and on the mic you just squeeze/click it to answer a call or mute the call, or to change songs. To end a call you just hold the button longer on the mic. Very easy to operate! I also ordered a pair of Motorola headphones, but am thinking of returning them (without ever even opening them) because I just love these Jabra ones!!! If you can find the perfect fitting gel out of the 3 sets they give you (and can position it to hold in your ear), I say go for these! Very worthwhile purchase!!

This is the nicest cellphone headset I have owned. The biggest feature is the unique shape. Unlike most brands they are not round or ellipsoid. Instead they are a much more complex shape that fits with the natural shape of the ear. Definitely takes a little practice to master the skill of inserting them. They don't just hook on like traditional designs, but rather must be inserted at a certain angle then twisted slightly. One they're in, they fit perfectly - very comfortable, and don't fall out at all.Comes with three sizes of ear gel. I found the medium one installed by default fit my (medium size) ears perfectly.Sound quality, both talking and listening, is great. Mic (with integrated button) is attached to the left earpiece's cord, separate from the volume control which is attached to the shared cord. When wearing the headset, the mic hangs near my cheek. Friends report they can hear me better than on my previous (HTC & Apple brand) headsets, with less background noise. Manual volume slider is a convenient feature for phones that don't support button-based volume control, and has just about the right level of resistance.Build quality seems similar to Apple brand headset. I expect with my very heavy use it will probably last ~6mo.Includes a small rubber case. Normally I don't care for the cases that come with headsets, but this one is simple & compact enough that I find myself using it all the time.Highly recommended. Would not ever use a round-shaped headset again.UPDATE: After six months of use, I lost my headset on the train. It was still working perfectly - the little rubber case thing does a great job of keeping it from getting damaged in my pocket. No question, best headset I have owned, I already miss it. Just ordered another one. :)

These come with several different size pads , and they only go in your ear one way and don't move much. Once you find the best fit they are decent. The sound is average. The microphone only works if you pick it up and put it near your mouth.

Good sound, but the replaceable ear molds fall off very easily. I've already lost most of them.

Bien, para empezar, los audífonos tardaron en llegar una semana después de lo acordado, pudo haber sido tanto culpa de Amazon como del fabricante, no lo sé. Los audífonos suenan bien y los controles a lo largo del cable están en una posición cómoda, el problema es que no tienen ni una semana de uso cuando el auricular izquierdo comenzó a fallar, durante el tiempo que los usé no fueron maltratados de ninguna manera por lo que no hay razón para el fallo, además de que la caja venía bien sellada por lo que supongo es un error directamente del fabricante. Tiene 3 pares de gomas que son innecesariamente grandes, incluso la más pequeña lastima la oreja.No tengo tiempo para hacer la devolución, así que simple y sencillamente no vuelvo a comprar marca Jabra, pésima calidad.Tanto por el precio como lo que ofrecen y para lo que sirven NO lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Suenan muy bien y el precio es bueno, lo malo es que son muy grandes y las gomas muy difíciles de ajustar, después de un tiempo son incómodos

Son audífonos que se sienten de buena calidad, se escuchan bien en función de su precio. Lástima que tres meses después de su compra y con muy pocos eventos de uso, se ha descompuesto el botón de reproducir/detener (que también sirve para contestar/colgar en llamadas y para Siri y asistente de voz en Android).
