A: It is the old saying, 'supply and demand'.  The price is driven by the demand for the short supply what is yet available.  Crazy, huh?

A: 10" high by 8" wide

**Q: Could you please tell me is it made in China? My kid loves it but I do not buy toys of China.**
A: Yes the pigeon is made in China, it is however up to US standards. If your son loves the pigeon book , he will truely love this pigeon. It is high quality too.

**Q: Can the voice box be replaced?  I have one but the voice box quit.  What can I do?**
A: The manufacturer did not create with a Velcro opening, so to replace the batteries you would need to do sewing surgery.

My granddaughter is obsessed with this pigeon. She loved the book and really enjoys. The fact she can hold this pigeon and tell him he can’t drive the bus. The Voice being the actual author of the pigeon series is also pretty awesome. The little mechanism inside is sometimes hard to get in the right position to make him say “let me drive the bus.” But overall, it is an excellent toy and well-made
