Turtle Beach Ear Force PlayStation 4 Talkback Cable with Foam Windscreen

It does exactly what it says it will. I have had my X31s for a really long time and was sad when I saw they did not work with my PS4. I really did not want to buy new ones when those work so well. Thankfully these let me still use them with full functionality. I feel the cord might be just a bit too long. I think this is a harder thing to actually get right though since it is more of a personal preference than anything else. It tends to tangle due to the length though. The mute switch takes a nice amount of force which prevents accidental hits from turning off the mic mid sentence. I think every knows it can get a bit frustrating at times when that happens and you have to repeat whatever you had just said. If you play competitive it could be a huge issue. Having the volume dial there too is very nice especially when you get someone who just can't seem to control their volume. The connectors looks solid and give nice feed back when they are correctly inserted. Nothing worse than a loose connection that you can not really tell if it is in or worse you get bad audio quality because of it. My only suggestions to the people who make these would be maybe offer an option where the controls are at the base of the connector that goes into the controller. That would make it much easier to see what I am doing or if I am muted already.

I primarily play on PS4 but when Pubg came out on Xbox I dusted off my machine to give it a try. Since I use a mixamp pro tr on the PS4 I don’t need a chat cable but my older 2013 mixamp that I use with Xbone does and I couldn’t find it requiring a purchase. I selected this cable for two reasons, one the conversion between the two standards used in the controller/headset adapter and the mixamp are somewhat unique/rare and I didn’t want to take a risk with a lower quality or fake product. Two, the “talkback cable” is rather specific and would be difficult to counterfeit guaranteeing me a least the expected off the rack quality from turtle beach (whatever that’s worth). As expected I received the cable in a sealed OEM box from Turtle Beach with all types of higher touch/retail niceties like little stickers indicating which end goes where (like a normal person couldn’t figure out the 3.5mm won’t fit in the 2.5mm) that you wouldn’t get from a china knock off. It works perfectly but I didn’t realize how short the cable was going to be. This isn’t a problem for Turtle Beach users but if you plan to use with a mixamp it may be a little on the short side. Also, in retrospect the inclusion of the a chat mixer was totally unnecessary and I’ve never seen a turtle beach headset, wired or not, that didn’t natively come with its own type of chat mixer making the one on this cable totally redundant. For example, if one of the two mixers gets turned down it could take a few minutes to figure out why you can’t hear chat turning you into “that guy”. So while the unique nature of the cable almost guarantees that you’ll get a genuine product it’s that same thing (and to a lesser extent, its overall length) that makes its less attractive vs a knockoff 3.5mm (4 pole) to 2.5mm (3 pole). If I could I’d give it 3.5 but in this world that would just round up so 4 stars it is.

This cable fixed my issues for chat with my XP500 to Xbox One S. Finally!!! High recommend, used to have the old connector spliced with the old turtle Beach chat wire I had when I purchased for Xbox 360. Currently using the Wolverine remote from Razer. Works perfectly. Can confirm it works with the standard wireless remote the system came with. On a side note, if you're having crackling and popping and cut out sound from your headset - that is RF interference with you're XP500 signal transmits to the receiver. The 2.4 gigahertz wireless signal from your wifi interferes with it. I turned off my 2.4 on my router since it's the slower signal and my old headset works perfectly. You should be able to change the Chanel. Mine wouldn't which is why I turned it off.

I use this on my XBOX one. If it my needs perfectly! I have a Turtle Beach Earforce X41 headset that I originally bought to use with my XBOX 360. I was disappointed when I found out it wouldn't work with my new XBOX One. 360's use a 2.5mm headphone jack, where the One's have a 3.5mm jack. This cable fixed my problem by just switching cables. It works perfectly! It also works to use my headset on my iPhone, which is great for me. I use it quite a bit. An important thing to note: Newer XBOX controllers have the 3.5mm jack built in. Older controllers don't have the jack. If that's the case for you, you will also need the stereo headset adapter to plug it in. I'm really glad I got it!

First I'd like to clarify I bought this cable to allow my Turtle Beach PX5's to connect to my PS4. For those not aware, the PS4 has proprietary Bluetooth and either it is not licensed to Turtle Beach or they are not taking advantage of it. The PX5's, while previously fully wireless on the PS3, require this cable to leverage the proprietary Bluetooth connection of the controller. This is a horrible outcome for the end customer because it requires me to now have a (partially) wired headset that was previously wireless on OLDER technology. That being said, the cable does what it is supposed to do. Occasionally it will have some static feedback if I brush it against something (this is inevitable because it will dangle across your lap). Furthermore, the product design has the control switch in the low point of the cable so occasionally I will brush the volume wheel across something. It should be either higher near the headphones or closer to the controller. Update: cable broke after about a year. downgrading to one star because now I have the choice to buy another or replace my $250 turtle beach headphones.

Ya había tenido este producto, pero se me rompió de un extremo; no por que sea de mala calidad, simplemente ya tenía años con él y de tanto uso se rompió. Aunque obviamente me gustaría que fuera de materiales mucho más durables, cumple perfectamente con su propósito y sus materiales son de buena calidad, y si aguantan bastante el uso y manejo diario.

Tengo unos Turtle Beach X42 que compre con mi XBOX 360, y ahora que me he cambiado a PS4 tenia un problema porque no los podia utilizar para chatear con mis amigos. El cable tiene un terminal jack de 2.5 para conectarlo a los auriculares, y un terminal jack de 3.5 para conectarlo al mando de la PS4. Antes de comprar este cable segui un tutorial de internet para fabricar un cable y poder utilizarlo con mi PS4, y a pesar que me considero bastante manitas, mis amigos me oian con mucho eco y tenia que hacer muchos ajustes para poder escuchar y ser escuchado adecuadamente. Al final compre este cable y no puedo estar mas contento, funciona a la perfeccion, tiene control de volumen del chat y opcion de mute. El volumen del chat se regula solo, en funcion de los altibajos del sonido del juego, por lo que siempre mantiene el volumen del chat para que puedas comunicarte sin problemas, es decir, si el juego tiene un momento de muchos disparos y explosiones, el volumen del chat aumenta automaticamente para compensar esa subida. Definitivamente lo recomiendo ya que me he ahorrado tener que comprarme otros auriculares para la PS4.

Ich hatte mir erst die etwas billigere Variante von BigBen für mein Turtle Beach PX5 geholt, doch damit funktionierte der Party-Chat nicht richtig, denn meine Mitspieler hörten sich untereinander durch mich auf einmal doppelt (Echoeffekt), was wahrscheinlich auf eine Rückkopplung zurückzuführen ist, oder zeitweise konnte ich meine Mitspieler überhaupt nicht hören, was durch leichtes Drehen des Steckers im Anschluss am PX5 aber zu beheben war - soll heissen, ich konnte meine Mitspieler nur hören, wenn der Stecker eine bestimmte Stellung hatte! Folglich, so oder so, absolut unbrauchbar & daraufhin bestellte ich dann dieses original Kabel hier, nachdem ich sichergestellt hatte, das mein PX5 bzw. die Buchse für den Anschluss des Chat-Kabels in Ordnung war & siehe da - voila, alles funktioniert mit diesem hier einwandfrei!! Keine Störungen, kein Echo, keine Rückkopplungen - jeder kann mich super verstehen & ich verstehe meine Mitspieler auch wunderbar! Zusätzlicher Pluspunkt ist, das man am Kabel direkt ganz fix zB das Mic per Schalter muten kann oder die Chatlautstärke nochmal gesondert einstellen kann, was in schweren Gefechten, die man gemeinsam mit anderen Daddelt, ganz klar von Vorteil ist!! Kann jedem Betroffenen nur zum direkten Kauf des original Turtle Beach Chat-Kabels raten, auch wenn es ein paar Euro teurer ist - ohne hier Werbung für TB betreiben zu wollen, denn damit ist man einfach auf der sicheren Seite!!!

Achete pour Turtlebeach PX4 qui ne fonctionne pas sur PS4. Nickel casque et micro fonctionne. Il est obligatoir. Un cable jack 2.5mm et 3.5mm a l autre bout ne fonctionnai pas.
