My fault, I could have returned them; but the fault was mine - I should have ordered my correct size and not tried to "account" for the current shoe sizes being skimpy. Roper makes the size they advertise, the fit, other than the length is great (once again my fault). No internal seams that rub or chafe, no leather blemishes, all leather, no manmade leather alternatives.
