Wilton Chocolate Pro Chocolate Fountain and Fondue Fountain - Designed to Keep Chocolate Melted for Easy Treat Dipping, 3-Tier, 16-Inches Tall, 4-lb Capacity

This fountain is really nice. I bought it for use in my wedding. It's really easy to use and a great hit. I don't have any major problems with it, but there are a few things I wanted to put in a review that I would have liked to see in reviews when I was researching this product. Make sure you use 4 pounds of chocolate at one time. We wanted to test out the fountain and the chocolate we bought to make sure we liked it, but we didn't want to use a whole four pounds so we only used two. It works fine, you just won't have enough chocoloate to make the fountain really flow. It never said on the pacakge whether you HAD to use four pounds at once or that the capacity was UP TO four pounds so we wanted to test that out, too. It is best to use four pounds. Also the motor in the fountain is a little noisy and it's a constant noise. It's not terribly loud, but it is there. Clean up isn't too hard with this fountain, either, though it does take some time. You have to turn the fountain off and let the chocolate cool before you can start clean up, so that takes a little bit of time. But you also can't forget about it or let it cool too long or the chocolate will harden and ruin the fountatin. You also can't pour the chocolate down the sink, so you need another method of disposal. The base cannot be submerged in water, so you just wipe out the chocolate with a rag or paper towel. When I cleaned out the plastic fountains peices, I filled the sink with hot, soapy water and soaked them for a little bit before I tried to clean them. That made them easier to clean. This fountain is a really good fountain and I highly recommend it!

The fountain operated perfectly! It was easy to use and surprisingly easy to clean. Everyone at the party loved it. It's a pretty big fountain with regard to capacity so it was perfect for the 50 people we had at our party. This chocolate fountain was met with excitement and delight from our party guests of all ages and everyone visited the fountain table at least once with many guests using the fountain table as a central hub for social interaction. Beautiful and impressive operation requires two bags of the chocolate fountain and fondue wafers and more chocolate needs to be added as the guests enjoy the fountain. This leaves quite a bit of chocolate in the fountain when the party is over. While the leftover chocolate can be stored in a microwaveable container and reused, I am not a fan of reusing something that is enjoyed by so many people. Therefore, I will be also be purchasing a smaller fountain for smaller and more intimate gatherings; a fountain that requires only one bag of the chocolate wafers so that I won't waste so much chocolate at the end of the party. And for our larger functions, I will use both fountains with the smaller one for white chocolate.

I’m so glad I made this purchase - it’s fantastic! Absolutely the hit of the party. I didn’t want to use Wilton brand chocolate because I can’t have dairy, so I used five bags of Guittard chips: 3 of the extra dark and 2 semisweet. And then I added about a cup of organic coconut oil. I melted all the chocolate and the coconut oil together in the microwave and mixed it until smooth before pouring it in. It worked fantastic and flowed beautifully. So. Much. Fun. We dipped strawberries, banana slices, marshmallows, pineapple cubes, and pound cake cubes all on skewers. Even my husband, who was not on board at all for this purchase, loved it. This is such a special treat for a dessert and it requires hardly any effort compared to baking something. This is easier than a box cake mix and 10 times the wow factor. Easy, unique, fun, and delicious. Absolutely recommend!!

Hi everyone, I bought the chocolate fountain for my daughter's Bday. I wasn't sure how to use it and was literally afraid that it wouldn't work properly. To add to my stress, my husband wasn't very enthusiastic. Well, the machine was totally easy to assemble, I did it myself in about 3 minutes. Melting the chocolate is what took more time and required more attention since you don't want it burned. I would recommend doing it at least one hour prior to your event. I melted about 4 pounds (2 big bags). However, it took me more time because I melted smaller portions until I got everything melted. I wouldn't turn on the machine until you have all the chocolate melted. Just leave it on heating setting and place the chocolate on it as you melt it. I got a pretty decent flow, it didn't look exactly like the photo on the box though. Probably I would need one more pound of chocolate to get that effect. However, I got to say that it was a wonderful addition to my party, the kids loved and I was very pleased. Good product for the money. It is also easy to clean up. My husband did it and told me that it took him about 5 minutes. I didn't believe at first but it make sense when you do it IMMEDIATELY after turning off the machine. I read through a lot of reviews on many different chocolate fountains before purchasing the Wilton 2104-9008. I was trying to test it out before our Halloween party but didn't have time. I purchased the Wilton chocolate and didn't have to use any oil. After I poured the melted chocolate in the fountain, I turned the knob to run and crossed my fingers. It ran perfectly. It truly flowed just like the picture. It was a big hit at our party. I ran it for 3 hours and had no problems. For cleanup, I salvaged what I could of the chocolate left, and then took it apart to clean. 5 minutes seems about right with some hot water. Once you get the tiers off and the auger, just tilt the base on the side of the sink and use a sprayer to wash out. Tips: Make sure the base is level before you turn it on. It has three adjustable feet and a bubble to show you when it is level. Make sure the chocolate is completely liquified. The fountain will keep the chocolate hot. The fountain runs by an auger, not a pump. The motor turns the auger and it brings the chocolate to the top. It holds four pounds of chocolate. The more chocolate you put in the fountain, the more coverage (flow) you will get. I have only used Wilton Chocolate or ChocoMaker Chocolate . I would only recommend you use chocolate that is made for fountains. You don't have to add oil or anything. Just melt and pour it in. Use skewers for dipping (Wal-Mart sells 100 skewers for $1). Keep an eye on your fountain and remove any fallen debris. I just take a skewer and run it around to find anything that may have fallen in. As your chocolate gets used, the fountain will start having gaps in coverage. This is normal. Definitely worth purchasing. The fountain is very reasonably priced and it runs great and flows just like the picture. Update: It has been two years now since I bought this fountain. I just used it for my daughter's birthday party and it still works just as new. It has been used about 10 times now since I bought it.

I ordered this for my grandson's 5th Birthday party. It was a hit with the adults, teens and children alike. When it was time to assemble the fountain my son figured it out in a snap, no problem. I also purchased the Wilton Chocolate Pro Fountain and Fondue Chocolate which is perfect, it is soooo creamy and smooth tasting it reminded me of Dove Chocolate. The two main things you need to know is #1 be sure the fountain is level and #2 be sure the chocolate is melted to a liquid consistency. My son micro waved the chocolate in the bag for me as I was finishing up my hair and makeup. When I entered the kitchen I could tell it was not melted enough, but he already had it poured into the fountain. He got the chocolate to the melted stage but not to a liquid stage. It worked okay but it did not have a consistent even flow. That is when they decided to check to see if the fountain was level. (I did not know they were setting it up, or I would of mentioned that important detail to them) I don't think the unit gets hot enough to melt the chocolate, it just keeps it running smooth when it is already liquid. Clean up was very easy, pour the chocolate into some tupperware, use a plastic scraper and scrape off the augers. Put it under hot water and for good measure put it in the dishwasher. It took all of five minutes. Just remember be sure the fountain is level and be sure the chocolate is melted to a liquid consistency. remember those two tips and you will be fine, everyone loved it. I huge hit!!!

I had no idea what to expect from this chocolate fountain, as I had never used one. WOW! It was so easy to use! Came with excellent instructions and worked perfectly. Everyone loved it and I would say it was the hit of the party. Full disclosure- I was disappointed to discover it said it works best with 4 lbs of chocolate. I did use the 4 lbs, but had probably 1/2 left over. No worries, I just put it in a container and froze it. Cleanup is a bit of a chore, but so worth the fun!

Okay, first I must say that although I "review" nearly everything prior to purchasing, I am not much of a writer or reviews. However, I needed to share this little tidbit of information. We have two young ladies in our lives that are very much like daughters to us. Both of these ladies chose to get married to their fiancés this summer, and their dates, of course, would be one week a part. One of the gifts that we chose to give them was to supply them with a chocolate fountain and chocolate. Being a careful shopper, I read my reviews and made my decision on the "Wilton 2104-9008 Chocolate Pro 3-Tier Chocolate Fountain." My wife and I chose to purchase it early so that there was NO chance of anything going wrong... Long-story-short, we received the fountain in plenty of time and set it aside until the Thursday, two days prior to the first wedding... We unboxed the fountain to prepare it (clean it), plugged it in and... wait for it... Yep! NOTHING! It was dead! It was already past 5pm on Thursday and we live in the country, and the wedding was in less than 48 hours! Anyhow, we called Amazon customer service and the gentleman was SO wonderful that he stated "he would do his best to make certain that there was another fountain at my door by Saturday!" We not only received it Saturday(a working unit), but we got it around 10am!!! Amazon, AGAIN, came through! I cannot tell you how happy I am working with such an amazing company and their superb choice of Customer Service Representatives. Over the years, I have had to call their Customer Service more than once, and I have ALWAYS been treated WONDERFULLY! Okay,so, to make a long-story-slightly shorter, we are on our way to the wedding to watch one of our two very special ladies get married! And, we are going as the Heroes! All because of Amazon! Love this fountain. I ordered it for my son’s 9th birthday party and it was a hit with all of our guests. It was easy to set up and use. I used the Wilton chocolate and it melted and tasted great! Highly recommend. One tip is that it is preferable to finish all the chocolate in the fountain and wash right away. It is lots of work to clean if the chocolate cools off too much.

C’est ma deuxième fontaine. Celle-ci est la meilleure. Puissante silencieuse et facile à laver. Le chocolat s’écoule sans arrêt et si vous n’utilisez pas 4 livres de chocolat comme suggéré pour avoir un écoulement abondant vous aurez une cascade de chocolat moins régulière mais tout aussi jolie .

J'ai commandé cette fontaine de chocolat pour une réception de Noël. J'ai été satisfaite de mon achat. Je connais la marque Wilton , c'est vraiment de bon article de qualité. Cet appareil est facile à laver et facile d'utilisation. Je suis entièrement fière de mon achat. Cela va servir pas juste à moi, mais à tout mon entourage la parenté et mes amis.

Excellent product. Fountain noise is not very loud. Easy to set up. Easy to clean if you follow the directions correctly. Definitely worth spending a little bit extra money and buying this one. 5 stars
