Manufacturing defect.
On first receiving I thought all was good but as I begin to assemble the door handle on to the new door panel it was very obvious that the door handle spring would not be able to function at all. Due to the fact that the new door panel I received "did not" have the catch ridge/channel for the door handle return spring to be held in place. It must be there to hold spring tension in order for the door handle to return to place after release. I have already waited close to 2 weeks for the first one to arrive and now the return and reorder process may take way longer, hope Premium Parts will expedite this process. Then I may be able to give more stars on rating this product. I will return and try again. Hopefully, the next one will be properly and accurately produced.

WORK ON IT!!!
Not happy.. supposed to be for my 2009 Jeep Liberty...there is NO door handle spring holder...I had to put a self tapping screw through the plastic to hold the spring end. After installation, my power lock didn’t work..your door lock hole is too low and presses against the lock rod. Dremel tool to make bigger hole. I WANTED A FITTING PART AND I GOT A JERRY RIGGED PIECE OF PLASTIC THAT I HOPE DOESNT FAIL ME A THIRD TIME.

Do not buy
Was not an exact fit and will not work in our 2012 Jeep Liberty. There is a piece that the handle pin needs to catch on to open the door and it is nonexistent also there is no notch to slide the pin into the door handle. Once we got to that point we stopped attempting to install it so there might be more wrong with it.
