I like that the DisplayLink technology always just works. These are simple to install and have proven to be extremely compatible and reliable.

Bought this dock for two reasons - 1) my previous Anker dock no longer worked with my company issued Dell laptop because it had a SD card reader that mounted as a drive, and my company blocks external drives for security, and 2) My personal and work laptops both need more than the typical power that most docks can provide and I wanted to have one cable to swap everything. Worked great out of the box for the first 3-4 months. The audio/headset port on the dock never worked, but that's no biggie to just plug into the laptop when I need it. Then I started getting random times when the fan in the dock would just spin up to "jet engine" mode randomly and for no reason. Annoying, but out of warranty already, so OK. But now, after 8 months, all of the USB ports on the dock just suddenly failed. So my keyboard and mouse now only work if I plug them directly into the laptop, which really defeats the purpose of having a dock in the first place. Sorely disappointed, and I won't be buying anything Amazon Renewed again since clearly their quality checks are lacking. Spend the extra for a new item, or pick a different brand/vendor at least.

This Dell dock was purchased to supplement our owner and all the office locations he's at. We are working to put these docks in each office. This was a piece for our demo unit and it worked perfectly.

I ordered this refurbished. Arrived well packaged and order was complete and timely. Good savings over new. Setup was trivial. Everything worked as expected. We will see how it goes over the monts ahead.

I have been using DELL docking stations for decades as part of my profession. These bricks are undestroyable - except for the joint where the double-usb-c cable connects to the brick. I happened to have received one that exactly had this issue. The price reduction for a refurbished one, along with the comfort of Amazon to return if not satisfied justified the risk of me ordering this one. I ended up returning the docking station and using individual USB-C cables to connect my monitors instead.

I work remotely so having a spare docking station for my Company-issued was a great option because I work from 2 different homes, so this helps me a great deal so that I can simply unplug my laptop and plug it in at the next location without fiddling with other cables

In my case, refurbished meant still broken. I won't try that again. I was looking forward to having a second port so I wouldn't have to disconnect everything when I travel. Discount price not worth it. Thank God I tried it before I traveled.

I was a bit apprehensive to order this, as have had issues with "renewed" products form Amazon before (and some of the other reviews on this product in particular), and although it arrived a bit grubby (needed to be wiped down a bit) it worked perfectly. You may need to reboot a few times to get it all to interface properly and recognize the two external monitors (D Port), but it did eventually (maybe some operator error involved! :)). This one also has the 3.5 mm audio jacks, which I wanted, and that works as well.

No funciona nada, No sirve

Runs not only my new Dell laptop but also my work Lenovo and my wife’s Mac, so very flexible! Good but not great number of ports. Fairly large so you need some decent desk space. Good at the “refurbished” price I paid.

Deze leverancier heeft de boel opgelicht. Zijn geen nieuwe dockings. Zijn duidelijk gebruikt, zaten niet in originele verpakking!! Dit heb ik de laatste keer al vaker gehad met Amazon, waardoor ik besluit om in principe NIET te bestellen bij Amazon/partners.
