Geo F. Trumper Almond Shaving Cream Jar

The Geo F. Trumper shave cream is gives the best shave of any product I have used and I shave daily. My skin is never razor burned or rough when I use this. I was a big fan of the Crabtree and Evelyn shave products but it is becoming harder and harder to get it and I prefer this now. This would be a great product for anyone that shaves, not just men. If you have not used the British shave creams you really need to give it a try. A quarter sized little speck will lather your whole face. Its amazing how it creates lather and its not soapy its like a cream. Every day I use it I think I want to tell more people about it. You may think that it seems expensive compared to a shave cream in a bottle but the jar will last almost 6-9 months shaving every day. I would imagine it works well with a brush but I would bet you would use more cream with a brush. I put my finger in the jar up to the end of my nail and it is more than enough for a great shave. Besides the great shave the best part is the scent. I have used the Limes version and its great but the scent of the Almond is amazing! You almost want to taste it. Its a great gift for someone with a heavy beard. I would suggest not using the bag of plastic disposable razors with it, If your purchasing this as a gift, get a nice Gillette Sensor with the comfort strip. That razor with this cream makes shaving everyday simple fast and totally without burn. One of the best products I ever found. I have purchased directly from the London web site of Geo F. Trumper but the shipping is way too expensive. I'm so glad to see more Amazon sellers carrying this product. Their price is exactly the same as what you pay on the London web site but if you are Prime and find it from a seller that will ship under your prime, its a fantastic deal.

Funny enough, the lady in the family(me) is the one who is the shaving connoisseur. I had always been a fan of the Proraso creams but it was time to branch out a little. I decided to try something new based on the fact that my husband, who never used shaving cream before(le gasp, water only, the torment!), starting using mine and really liked it. He has drier skin than I do and I was not adverse to looking for a more moisturizing cream that we could share. This stuff is BOMB. It's creamy, smooth, very moisturizing, non-irritating, and lathers up quickly and easily in your hands (if you are lazy like me and skip the brush). It smells lovely. For those who might think it matters, the almond scent, in my opinion, is a very gender neutral scent. The tube is small, which honestly was not worth knocking off a star for me. I'm a lady, I have a huge area of real-estate to cover, so I go through this sort of product quickly. The company offers smaller, travel sized versions of this for those who are interested. My sensitive skin was not upset. My husband's dry face looked better after a shave. It agrees with his cartridge razors and my double edged and straight razors. Whatever razor you use, this has been tested in our home just fine. I dare say, it's a slightly better shave than the Proraso ones I have tried in the past. I am usually a 2-3 pass sort of shaver. I easily can get by on 1-2. I look forward to trying their Coconut and Violet scents in the future. From what I read, Coconut is similar in feel to the Almond. The Violet is supposed to be a little dryer in consistency.

Geo F. Trumper Shaving Creams are among the best. I had used this Almond Shaving Cream product previously and decided to buy it once more. Can't go wrong with this. It is a very smooth shaving cream and the scent is pleasant and not over-powering. It is worth the price!

Lather up and suddenly you’re a Victorian gentleman who just strolled out of a bakery. This stuff smells like almond cookies and class. Rich, creamy, and smooth as a flirtatious apology - my face loves it, and so does anyone who gets within sniffing distance. Honestly, I shave more just to smell like dessert. 11/10, would let this cream court me.

Doesn't soften my hair as much as this brands other products. I would still recommend this for others that don't have the toughest hair. I love the smell. I love the thick moisturizing lather.

I haven’t deep-dived into shaving creams because I didn’t have much hair growth until the past several years. (I started using a vitamin that caused more hair growth on my head and legs.) Now that I have to shave more often, I find that having a pleasant shaving cream is beneficial. You won’t find something like this at a drugstore in the US but you should. (No one should be forced to use those disgusting bottles of foaming chemical irritants!) It has a lovely and light almond smell, is slightly hydrating and the bottle lasts for months. I also appreciate that the packaging is aesthetically pleasing. I tried another flavor but prefer the almond. I will continue to purchase this!

Es una crema de afeitar excelente, la llevo usando desde hace más de 20 años por una recomendación de un amigo al que estaré siempre agradecido, recomendables también las de Lima, Violeta, Coco, Rosa y Cuero, pero la de Almendras es lo más de lo mas. ottima crema da barba, ne basta veramente pochissima per montare una crema spumosa e ricca, che rende la pelle morbida e preparata al passaggio della lama. Pochissimo prodotto che continua ad aumentare passando il pennello sul viso, sembra non finire mai anzi aumenta in continuazione. Un vero piacere farsi la barba. Ho ripreso a farmela tutti i giorni. Leggermente profumata alla mandorla, che poi svanisce al risciaquo. Veramente altamente consigliato, che garantisce rasatura perfetta e una lunghissima durata grazie alla grande confezione

Es una delicia, el aroma es penetrante y el espumado es sencillo. La espuma que se genera es muy acolchada y si la trabajas bien te ofrecerá una excelente protección, la navaja (barbera o doble filo) se desliza super bien y en cada pasada de la brocha el aroma te cautiva. 100% recomendado, es una gran marca, la presentación es excelente y el tiempo de entrega de Amazon es lo mejor.

Excellent shaving cream, creating a great cushion for your razor blade and a great scent as well. A little goes a very long way and the tub lasts for a very long time.
