I’m giving the PURA D’OR 16 Oz Organic Aloe Vera Gel a full 5 stars because this stuff truly works wonders. I’ve used it for skin irritation, dryness, and even after sun exposure, and it always feels instantly soothing and cooling. The texture is light and absorbs nicely without feeling sticky, which I really appreciate. It also feels very clean and gentle on the skin, which makes me comfortable using it regularly on both my face and body. Overall, this is one of those staple products I always want to have on hand. It’s simple, effective, and consistently delivers great results whenever I use it.

I love this brands products, especially the aloe Vera gel.

In the summertime when it’s hot I love to use this as my full face and body moisturizer when lotion is too much. In the winter I use it under my lotion. My favorite of the scents I’ve tried.

Do not expect a thick gel. This is very thin and almost watery. That being said it applies to skin areas easily and works beautifully.

I’ve been using this aloe vera gel for multiple purposes — skin moisturizer, soothing irritation, and hair — and it delivers every time. I was really excited about this product. I did see one review out of many who gave a review stating that it burned their skin while everybody else seem to like it. This product burned my skin within less than 2 minutes of putting it on. My skin turned bright red and was burning real bad like a chemical burn that I once had from using benzoyl peroxide that was too strong. They state that this is organic and that it's natural but there is some chemical in here that burns people's skin because I went and cut off an aloe vera leaf that is on my porch and it healed the redness and stopped the burning and prevented my skin from getting burned further. I have olive skin which is oily, and although there have been times when my skin has reacted to specific things, I do not consider my skin to be overly sensitive. However, this product burned me in less than 2 minutes, and ironically, I had to put aloe vera leaf that I cut from my porch on my skin to reverse the reaction. This product claims, "Complete Satisfaction Guaranteed", and touts as one of the main features of why they think this product is so great is that it's "preservative free". That's not exactly true and in place of potassium sorbate they put sodium lactate which I suspect is what is causing this reaction though I'm not sure. If you really want a true 100% organic and pure product, don't put any preservatives in it and then tell people that it needs to be refrigerated. I don't see what's the problem with doing that instead of causing chemical burns and deceiving them into thinking that this is a pure product when it's not.
