Great fit!
These are a perfect fit. I have really skinny legs, and dickies run big, so these are a nice slim fit with that classic Dickies look

Good pair of pants
Very good pants considering the price. They are good for school, work, and casual use. They look nice, are stylish, and match many styles/ outfits. The fit is similar but a little looser than the Levi 510 skinny jeans. I have gotten many compliments for these pants. The pants fit as expected. I normally wear between a 31 and 32 and bought a 32. They are a little loose around the waist but fit very nicely around my thighs and calves (I have a thin waist and muscular legs). The pants came stiff at first but soften up after multiple wears and washes. I've bought a total of 7 pairs of these pants. The first two I bought 1.5 years ago have gone through heavy use and look terrible now (lost their shape and color). These pants are not the most durable/ high quality and won't last as long as jeans or a quality pair of pants. Overall these pants are steal for the price and I would recommend them to anyone considering buying a pair.

The good: The fit is great
I debated giving these pants 3 stars instead of 4, but because of the price, I decided to go with 4. The good: The fit is great. These are a true slim fit without being nut huggers. (Caveat: You might need to go up a waist size.) They look great in the seat and through the legs. If you are a slender guy, then I highly recommend them. If you have a slender, but muscular frame, they might be too tight. These are better for the ectomorph body type. I would describe these as between Levi's 511 and Levi's 514, being a little closer to the 511s. One tip regarding the fit: You might need to let the pants air dry. These fit me perfectly, so long as I let them air dry. The bad: If you dry them in a machine, they will noticeably shrink. So if the fit is perfect when you first try them on, then don't put them in the dryer. They will become too tight and everyone will see the outline of your junk. The colors fade significantly. It doesn't take many washes for the color on these pants to no longer resemble their original richness. (I get that this happens with pretty much all pants, but it's much more extreme with these.) This isn't as big of a deal with colors such as grey or brown, but is quite noticeable with black. Not only that, but if you keep your keys, wallet, phone, etc, in your pockets, you will find that the color in those areas fades even more quickly. The quality just isn't the same as the originals. I've been wearing Dickies since I was in high school--so 22 years ago--and my first pairs of Dickies lasted me a solid 5 years. Not so with these. Maybe it's because, unlike the originals, it's heavy on cotton and light on polyester. (This is probably why they shrink and lose color much more quickly as well.) Expect nicks and tears to show up much more quickly on these pants. All in all, if you wear these pants regularly--say 2 or 3 times a week like me--they'll probably last you no more than 6 months. But, they're cheap, so it's a little more acceptable. The neutral: These pants run a little small in the waist. Even if you are pretty thin, buying your normal waist size may still end up giving you a muffin top. Not only that, but they are very snug through the hips and butt. So if you have a ghetto booty or are lucky enough to be packing heat, you should definitely go up a waist size. (I'm a 30" and go with 31" which works well. Not sure how much change it would be to go from a 32" to a 34".) The logo is now much more prominent. Instead of placing it above the back pocket, as most brands do and as Dickies used to do, the logo now appears on the phone pocket near the knee. I find this obnoxious. I'm not really into announcing what brand of clothing I wear--Dickies or otherwise--so I carefully remove the logo with an exacto knife. BONUS: Don't buy the Dickies slim-fitting shorts. Just buy these, take them to a tailor, pay $10, and get them hemmed into shorts. I get mine hemmed at 13" and they sit right at the knee. I've yet to find slim-fitting shorts that are actually slim-fitting in just the right way, so for me, paying the extra $10 to get them tailored is worth it.

Best work pants I've found!
My husband is 6 feet tall and has a thin muscular build. Finding work attire for him can be a disaster due to his job. He installs satellites, which requires him to climb ladders, crawl across hot roofs, climb under houses and bury cable lines. And he has to do this all while dressed professionally but also comfortably. This particular pair of Dickies hits every need. They're comfortable, he can actually bend and move without any restriction to his movements, without any discomfort to his groin area (some pants are way too tight in that area). He says the fabric is light enough that his skin can breathe but they're thick enough that he isn't ripping holes in the knees or back pockets due to carrying tools around. Of the 6 different brands of pants I've purchased for him, this pair of Dickies has outlasted them all and he requested I only buy this style from now on. Despite being slim cut, the pants still cover the top of his heavy steel toed boots, an issue we've had with other slim fit styles. As the person doing his laundry, I've found these pants extremely easy to keep clean despite the type of stains he gets on them. Hands down, great pants for tall, slim guys. If you're really muscular or heavy these may be too snug for you but for someone who's thin, I think these will be a perfect pair of pants. They're a great price and a great quality.

Modern and Comfortable
These are my new favorite pants! I am a woman, 5'8" tall and I usually wear a women's pants size 10 or 12. I like purchasing men's pants because the pockets are more functional and the material is often more durable. I was looking for a pair that would fit close to my body without being too tight and would have a skinny leg opening, which is a more modern look. These pants win! I tried them on as soon as I got them, and the fit is amazing. Nice, thick material that Dickies is known for without being too rugged. My other pair of Dickies is the Slim Skinny (WP803). I love those too, but I think these are a slightly more comfortable cut by comparison. Get these if you want a slim, modern, comfortable workpant that can be dressed up or down.

Fantastic Pants, Great Shipping Speed...One Minor Complaint!
First off, I would like to make note of how I purchased these pants and then exchanged them for the next waist size up (too small), and Dickies handled it seamlessly (pun completely intended). The shipping speed of both the first & second pairs was incredible, as another reviewer mentioned. And as another Amazon shopper pointed out, these pants are offered in the somewhat tough-to-find 29x32 size. That is the size I originally ordered, as it is my usual pant size, but they turned out to be way too tight; so I opted for the 30x32's. That being said, I felt these pants fit a little too close. I was looking for a skinny fit, but I wasn't expected something quite so constricting. I'm a somewhat tall guy (6' even) and fairly thin, and I found the length to be less than satisfactory while wearing the pants to work with my cotton uniform polo tucked in. Of course, this could be remedied by going another size up, but I didn't bother due to only one issue: the belt loops. On these pants, they are incredibly tiny. My belt (just your standard leather one from Elder Beerman) barely fit through the loops, of which there are 7 in total -- the extra loops made it even harder. Because of this, I didn't bother exchanging them a third time. Overall, these are fantastic looking pants. The quality is awesome -- there indeed have the covetable five pockets, the fifth being on the leg. I think simply ordering one or two sizes up in the waist would alleviate the size issue, unless what you prefer is a very tight, or "close" fit. The belt loops are the only flaw I would consider when buying.

They look silly, not NEARLY as flattering as the picture
I thought I would give them a try for my teen age son. If they only looked 'decent' like the stock photo. Cons: 1. Putting them on, the leg is so slim (which is no surprise) my very limber teen had to struggle to get them on. 2. They are NOT good looking when on (the web picture is flattering, don't expect that look at all. I am sure it was really hard for them to get that picture at JUST the right angle. 3. I have a slim (but not too skinny) teen who normally looks superb in cloths. These pants proved that they are horribly unflattering. 4. The 'seat' area fit fine, and the rise was low, as I had hoped, but they were almost baggy, and the legs being so skinny made it look like they were wearing a diaper. I can't describe it exactly, but I had him put them on twice and said "YUCK" two separate times. I really wanted these to work, as I loved how the rise was lower, but nothing else about them was flattering. Even though I "ONLY" wear my jeans at the TOP of my hip bones (and no further) my son says I wear my pants too high like an old man! He insists on wearing his pants not too low, but about an inch (1.0") below the tops of his hip bones. The 'stock' Dickie work pants look fine and must have normal 'rise'. Pros: 1. They seemed to be the excellent durability of Dickie work cloths. 2. They had a lower rise, the 'stock' Dickie work pants have too high of a rise (although fine for many 'grown ups!). The Amazon return system was superb, no problem, easy label printing, and prompt conclusion. I ended up getting a few pairs of the 'stock' Dickie work pants (black) for his school uniform instead, they are superb. BTW, tiny trick for parents of uniform students: To have these pants 'truly' black, simple remove the two red "Dickie" brand tags. To do this EASY and not wreck the pants, I use a sharp pair of small scissors and then open them to use one side. I then use that side and make a gentle sawing motion against the threads that hold the back pocket/knee emblem on. I keep the pants TAUGHT so they are never slack, ensuring I keep the scissors blade at a flat (90%) angle the the pants (so the blade is absolutely flat to the fabric of the TAUGHT pants) and the sawing motion cuts the threads enough that I can pull up on the label and keep cutting knowing I am ONLY cutting the label threads. Once the small label is off I simply remove the thread leftovers from the back/front and it is totally GONE. On my second pair (an older pair) I was not cautious about keeping the fabric TAUGHT and I cut into the black fabric a little. Now that I am aware and keep the fabric stretched (pants are not being worn, BTW) I have had perfect success. I really needed an odd size you CANNOT get in stores (31x32) and Amazon is a great source (as usual).

Freaking awesome pants!!!
I am a 22 year old male, and I recently got a job that requires slack type pants to be worn while at work. usually I would have just thought to go to my local mall to buy stylish slacks at say Zumies or another skate shop like that because I like to look good all the time, usually i would pay 45-55 dollars for one pair of brand name slacks very similar to these. I happened to stumble across these while browsing amazon and never thought that dickies would make a slim fit pant. but i saw good reviews and i bought a couple pairs and i love them!!! they look really good at the office and out and about at the club or bars. the fabric is nice and they are so cheap! what more could you ask for?? they fit on me like a pair of super slim jeans would that you buy at the mall, i have slightly thicker legs though so on someone with skinnier legs they would probably just fit like a slim fit, but i like how they look, they are just tight enough to look good. I am 5'6 and 158 pounds, hope that helps, i really recommend these pants, i will definitely be buying more!

Very happy with purchase!
I bought my pair true to size and they fit me great! I could see some people finding them a bit tight though as they arenโt mucking around when they say skinny. You could definitely get away with going up a size if you prefer.

Great fit and look!
I really like these pants. It is quite snug as the skinny straight style implies. The material appears durable and tends to hug my calves but does not feel uncomfortable. It's slightly looser around the thighs but maintains the skinny look. I especially like the side pocket on the right leg which fits my cell phone perfectly! The pockets and the material around the waist feel a bit stiff but I'm hoping they might loosen with use and soften with a few washes. I would give it 5 stars if it were a bit softer. Addendum: So I've had these pants for over a week now. I initially gave it 4 stars but after a few times wearing and washing this pants, I can say they are very comfortable and much softer when they first arrived. (about as comfortable as my favourite pair of jeans) I've received numerous compliments and questions as to where I acquired them. The side phone pocket is something I feel should be on all pants. I'm going to purchase other pair when I get a chance.
