For years I wore my mood ring until one day I wore away the band. I searched in vain until I found this ring. What I like about it is it's flat and the color goes around the entire ring. It's black when you first put it on, then slowly you can watch it change color until it reaches your mood. I do remove it when I wash my hands only as a precaution. If I have any cons it would be only that it didn't fit on the finger I bought it for (a little too small), so I wear it on a different finger. I bought 3 of these rings - 2 for my daughters and 1 for myself.
