Before it 'mysteriously' went missing, 3 days after first use, it was great! It keeps everything on schedule, no more late night eating, taking out more than they can eat and letting food rot in their room. However, I am disappointed that it simply disappeared within such a short period of time. Edit: I tried it again, but the lock that was in "very good" condition from previously owned is broken. Hopefully this third time will work out! Yes, it's just that good that I'm up to a third round. Edit: Found the lock in their room, torn. However, since then, I think they've realized it's not going away. In fact, healthier eating habits have been established and they seem to have improved in sharing and they no longer protest portioning. At first I felt guilty, but now I am relieved. They finally drink water regularly, don't rush to take all the milk/juice, and I'm able to make them normal meals they will eat. I am so glad I found this and gave in. They are eating much healthier and this has saved them from their habit of milk, pie, and juice. I have milk to cook with, and juice and pie to share with them rather than hide it from them entirely. I highly recommend this to those who have similar issues with those they love who don't understand/care about how they eat and what they're taking from themselves. Ex. I can bake them muffins, cook them waffles/pancakes, mashed potatoes, ect. No need to buy pie each day or wonder if there is milk for cereal or coffee. I will never again worry about what's in the fridge, do I need to restock, or if it will be left open for hours. Easy to use, very worth it.
