great bang for your buck
This works so easily and flawlessly with my nikon z5 mirrorless camera. I have taken a few stills and did a short timelapse video using this remote and it was easy. Sadly, the instructions it comes with was not as detailed as I would have hoped for but that is where Youtube becomes your friend. There are lots of videos on Youtube using this specific remote that give step by step instructions. Check those out first if you are looking for more details on usage.

It works
Other than the fact that the directions, for me, require the eyes of an 18 year old or some magnification device, it seems to work fine. I sat inside having a coffee and clicked away with the wireless remote as the Orioles landed at the feeder. As the directions say, be sure the remote and the wire are in the same channel.I have not used the functions for timing, interval, etc.

Feels like it wont last
It is a nice design and it work fine. When i held it gor the first time i wasnt impressed with the feel of the buttons. They seem weak and loose. I wonder what will break first.

Simple Setup, Easy to Use
I'm currently working on some product photography and this has been super helpful in my needs. I have to run and change backgrounds & lights, and being able to just carry this remote & click to take a photo has been amazing!I'm looking forward to figuring out how to do timelapse and everything else it can.

Cable seems to be a weak point have had 2 replacements and still the cable i
Is a decent product when it works one of my main gripes is the cable it’s very cheap and brittle and breaks very easy the first unit I had the cable broke within the first week so I got a replacement. The new one was better but I didn’t really take it out of the house and test it like I should’ve today 3 months later I’m out and was plannning on testing it on. A shoot and notice the cable ends had come undone the metal end is stuck in my camera and the cable it’s self has just some loose cable ends. I’m really upset with myself for not testing this sooner and seeing if it was better then the first but unfortunately it’s defective too. So now I have a useless camera remote cause without the cable I can’t control anything. So looks like I wasted close to 50 on this product. I will mention when I did test it at home it was a neat product I was able to get longer exposure photos but now when I reallly need to use it I’m screwed maybe the manufacturer sells the cables or warranties them I think they should cause it’s a cheap cable that’s obviously have a design flaw. Also I’m not a newb to photography I’ve been a landscape photographer for about 8 years and just recently made it a full time deal. I hope I can get this resolved before the lunar eclipse coming up which is what I was going out and trying to test this before I noticed the cable is trash.

Great but wish it saved state
works with Nikon Z6ii, can be used to keep pressing the video-record button.Does everything advertised. The one thing I wish it did better: It does not save state. If you turn it off and back on, all your settings are gone.

Would love to not send back.
Just unboxed it. Cable doesnt fit my nikon d3200. Instructions look simple enough and they included batteries. Trying to decide if i will purchase new cable or send all back.
