This is one heck of a very well made solid coat. Zippers are strong and sturdy, pockets are great esp the inside right vest mesh pouch, hold my flat water bottle perfectly when skiing. That pocket is actually quite large as well. Nice fuzzy fleece inside.Length goes just below your waist to cover your back when leaning forward on skis. Collar wraps nicely up and around the back of your neck. The sleeves even have a thinner piece of fabric that has a thumb hole to keep your sleeves down and in place, and allow your glove to come up and overlap that area, sealing you tight.THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that it is a bit heavy, but I did not notice it when skiing. Kept me warm at 28 degrees, that was my coldest day in this coat so far.I would recommend this coat, especially at this price.This coat could easily cost $300+ if it had a name brand label in a ski shop.

Great jacket - purchased for my son for our snow trip over Spring Break it was just perfect. He was warm and snug the entire trip, and often even a little too warm at times. He looked great in it as well. I was super pleased at it's value for the price. He hiked with snow shoes down Winter Park mountain for two hours and spent an hour snow tubing on a windy day with 20 degree temperatures and was completely warm all day. We climbed to the summit of Pike's Peak, this time the temperature were in the teens and it was so windy we could barely walk to fight the wind. He said he was never cold! I'm so glad that I purchased this jacket for him! I struggled with what to purchase because we live in Texas and I knew he'd barely wear a jacket like this again, so I really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expense name-brand jacket. My son is 6'1" and weighs 150. He's very lanky and lean. I purchased a Large and it was a good size on him falling a little below his waist and providing a little extra room for him to wear his big hoodies underneath.

first off.. I know this is a man's jacket but I am not a man.. I am a 5'5, 100ish pound female.. I tend to buy boys or mens stuff because it seems to be made tougher.. when I first received and wore this jacket I was totally impressed- windproof, waterproof, warm, etc... plus all the pockets.. however, it ripped.. Amazon was quick to send me a new one of the same thing.. Why not get a different item? I liked it so much that I felt it deserved a second chance.. which is why it only has 4 instead of 5 stars.. I am hoping this time it lasts me a long time.. and yes... the zippers work great..

Great coat. You will get hot in cold weather. Very thick. Washes well and zippers are strong. Very durable.

Great quality. I was struggling to find a winter coat for a teen boy that wasn’t a puffer jacket. This has good insulation, a comfortable lining, and wasn’t unnecessarily bulky. Lots of pockets with zippers to help keep things secure. It was much better crafted than many jackets I looked at from well known brands. It comes tightly packed in a plastic bag to ship, so give yourself an extra couple of days out of the bag to fluff out and not look wrinkled.

I had originally bought it for my husband, but he didn’t like it to bulky for work. He’s a construction supervisor so he’s outside all day in the winter.

I originally wanted to buy the women's version, but it was sold out. With a ski trip approaching, I decided to take a chance on this jacket. I checked the size chart and was unsure whether to choose an XL or XXL. After reading reviews from this site and others, I went with the XL, and I'm so glad I did! The jacket fits perfectly and is exactly as described.I tried it on with a fleece shirt, sweatshirt, and my snow bib, and it felt just right. It’s incredibly warm, featuring a soft fleece lining throughout, including the hood. The jacket has plenty of functional pockets, which I find very handy. I especially appreciate the thumb holes in the sleeves, as they allow for better movement while snowmobiling and snow tubing. The adjustable Velcro cuffs, snaps on the jacket, and drawstrings in both the hood and jacket are fantastic features. I highly recommend this jacket!
