Pino Sylvestre by Pino Sylvestre for Men Eau de Toilette Spray,1.3 oz

I used this cologne when I was a young kid living in Peru, South America. I remember loving the scent of Pino Silvestre, and so did my friends. Just a couple of weeks ago, while shopping on Amazon, I came across an ad for this cologne and it immediately brought nice memories, and I wondered whether I would feel the same way about it after all these many years. So, out of curiosity mostly, I decided to get a small bottle to try. Well, I got my order promptly and nicely packaged, and, of course, as soon as I got home with it, I ripped the package open and tried it right away on one of my wrists and, oh my God! I loved it even better than when I was a kid. Its earthy, woodsy scent is out of this world. If you love nature as I do, you will love this cologne. And what is important, the scent lasts until your next shower. This is the only cologne I am going to use from now on, and I think it already started creating new memories for me. Way to go Pino Silvestre!

I only wish I had gotten this fragrance sooner. I absolutely love the unquestionably masculine scent. Yes, it does have a faint smell of grandpa, at first. It then settles into a refined, unique and stately scent. It is perfect for special dates or work in the office. You can't over do it either. The ending fragrance is spicy and woody.

Great value on a nice cologne. This is one of my favorites. The pine cone shaped bottle is spot on as this cologne gives off an earthy pine wood tree type scent. I would view this as a fall/winter cologne. The scent is medium in terms of lasting power. For the price, well worth it.

This smells nice and woodsy, but the fragrance does not last very long. I started with just one spritz, but now am up to 4 or 5 before I can actually start smelling it. I realize that it is Eau De Toilette but expected it to last longer.

This has no smell resembling the outdoors or a woodsy environment. Bummer. The scent more so resembles cologne you would find in some long forgotten vintage bottle, with notes of putrefaction. I was really looking forward to this. Also- bottle design is cool. Good job whoever worked on that

I was reading somewhere that this was a common scent from an Italian barbershop from well over 1/2 a century ago. It's piney of course, simple, and masculine. I think it's neat that this fragrance has this kind of longevity.

Obviously people like different things. This cologne to me smells like a bug spray. I will pitch it.

It seems something has changed with this product over time. I have been using this for years and the most recent bottle smells nothing like it used to. Very strong almost unpleasant scent.
