I love this product because now I have a variety of sizes to use for different sized projects. These are really easy to use and I prefer them over the the dowels that are smooth and don’t have ridges because the wood glue is able to get in between the dowel and wood in order to create a stronger bond. It also helps lessen squeeze out of wood glue. It’s built well overall and functions the way it’s supposed to.

Consistent sizing and strong enough for typical Dowling on woodworking projects

So, I'm a Wen guy, sorta. I know it isn't the best quality, but the stuff I've bought from them exceeds the price in my experience. That said, wood dowels are pretty hard to mess up, so I figured I'd give them a go. I'm glad I did, for the price I can't see any real way of improving the dowels. They're accurately sized They have nice and pretty consistent notching The bucket is actually convenient BUT, in my bucket there were around a dozen or so of the dowels shown in my picture that have a flat face milled on them. I don't know why that happened, but it did. They SHOULD work fine, but they're hardly useable for alignment. So really, I got more like 385-390 for the price. Still, I'm happy. For the price, I think Wen wins again.

I had to put a bench seat together and was unsure of the size of dowel I needed, so this was perfect. Worked as it should and fit well. Bench is together.

Excellent quality product, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, every seam was taped on the WEN shipping cardboard box. Who wants to sort 400 assorted dowels, I don't care how good they are.

Fabulous selection

Nice selection of dowels. Good price. If you go to a big box store you’ll pay $3 for a small package. Good selection of normal sizes. I’ve used them and had no problem.

Good mix and are consistent in size/shape, so work well. Price was good.

I found some are smaller than others in the same size. Not by much but definitely a noticeable amount when you're pushing them into the holes. Other than that, they seem to be ok.
