Review: Buy it. Just do it. - BEST BUY EVER. Attached is a photo I have this maxed out and you can not see my baby in the box. Pros: works above and below the humid box, it has a dial so you can go low humidity, high humidity. It is silent. You cannot hear it at all. The automatic shut off feature when it detects low water has worked for me so far. Con: in the directions, it says that you have to really careful about the condensation which develops inside the tube becoming a problem for the fogging fan so you really have to pay attention to the tube and its health to make sure that if any water is in the tube that it goes out the other end.
Review: Good product, definitely satisfied - So far I'm very pleased. I've only had the humidifier about a week, but so far so good. I use it in a 24x18x18 Exo Terra cage with a rainbow boa. It produces anything from very light mist to very heavy mist. I have a timer to use it with but the light mist is so light that I can leave it on all the time and the humidity isn't too high. I do still run it 2 hours on, 1 hour off, over and over, every day. That's just to give it a rest. I do have a few small gripes, but they're small enough that I still gave it 5 stars. I really wish the top of the water tank had a valve you could open so you could just fill it while it's on the base. Once you get your hose set up just right, it's a pain to take the hose off, take the base off, and refill it from the bottom. Also, the hose is a bit hard to use. I find that it has to sit on the screen JUST right. If it doesn't, some of the mist comes out the side of the end of the tube instead of going down into the tank. Also, this isn't a flaw with the machine, but if it's on a cool side of the tank and producing medium or heavy fog, water collects on the screen at the end tube, it then blocks the air flow (the fan isn't very powerful), so fog starts coming out of the base of the machine. I put the humidifier near my heat lamp and it keeps it dry enough to solve that problem. Overall I'm very pleased. It's a good medium range product, better than the cheap ones (zoo med, etc.) and not as expensive as the fancy ones (mist king, etc.)

**Q: Anyone running a humitity controler with this unit? how does the setup work when power is turned off to the unit then powered back on automaticly?**
A: It works with a humidity controller, just set the humidifier to have no timer and the humidity controller does its job. It does make a slight beep every time it turns back on however

A: Mine beeped at me and a red light turned on a few weeks after I set it up, but then it stopped and now it works just fine without interruption.

**Q: Good afternoon I'm trying to find out where you are able to choose the option for the size cord because it says 1.5 to 5 ft cord?**
A: I’m assuming they mean the pipe the fog comes out of and you can expand it to 5 ft or keep in shrunk and it’s 1.5ft

So far I'm very pleased. I've only had the humidifier about a week, but so far so good. I use it in a 24x18x18 Exo Terra cage with a rainbow boa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best reptile fogger we've found

We are using this fogger for a ball python enclosure, and it is hooked up to a timer. It gives consistent output, is very quiet, and seems very well built. The volume control is pretty good, and can go from almost nothing to enough mist to fill a 50G tank in a minute or so. The reason for four stars instead of five is because of the tank design. To refill, you have to remove the hose, remove the tank and turn it over, then fill from the bottom. Due to our environment, we have to do this pretty much every day. Removing the hose means you might upset placement. The tank is also awkward to hold while filling; you can't simply set it on a flat surface to fill - you must hold it continuously. Further, when you pick up the tank you are pretty much guaranteed to spill water because the tank sits in the lower bay. This is a common issue with most any removable tank setup, so it's common to set them on plastic trays to hold small spills. We use either distilled or RO water, and there has been zero build up on the tank glass, nor inside the mechanism. If the manufacturer reads this, please consider a slight redesign to allow for filling from the top. This would allow users to fill in place, or to set the tank down while filling. For reference, the ZooMed fogger has a removable bottle that is smaller, replaceable, and easy to fill without disturbing the hose or potentially spilling or splashing water. If you design a top opening, make it large enough for easy filling from a jug and so it can be cleaned. This unit has been in cycled use (on for two hours, off for four) for about a month, and it's been great. If it allowed filling in place from the top, this would get six stars :)
