**Q: what grit sharpening stone should I use for this knife?**
A: I use a ChefsChoice diamond hone 463 Asian knife sharpener with these knives and they are super sharp.

**Q: does Kom Kom hold the edge longer than Kiwi?**
A: I have this Kom Kom knife an the Kiwi version. On my knives the Kom Kom keeps an edge longer. I really.expected no difference. Granted my experience could be due to sample variation.

**Q: Is 8" the total length or the blade only?**
A: It is an excellent stainless steel knife, lightweight and very sharp. The blade from point to handle is 7.5" and the "tang" is riveted 3x into the 5" handle. 12.25" from end to end. I love it.

**Q: I use and like kiwi because they are flexible. kom kom show three rivets in the handle. is the kom kom blade stiffer or flexible? thank you**
A: Firstly is a light knife and yes are exactly as the picture you will have the tree rivets in the handle. The blade is stiff but is not a carbon blade and is thinner than a regular knife. I thought I wasn’t going to like it because of this but the blade is very sharp and love to cut veggies with it since is wide and you will have less chance of accidents. Will cut meat but is not a cleaver so don’t try to go through bones with it. Don’t expect a the weight of a expensive one but it will do the job and personally I enjoy it.
