Review: Night lights - The way I used this product is very effective....better not to deal with batteries
Review: All the colors, anywhere you want - I purchased these (the 1.0 w) to provide accent lighting for a church service (specifically to add light underneath a glass bowl serving as a baptismal font. The size, ease of use, and spare remote got me thinking very quickly about where else I could add splashes of color, and the basic palette is broad enough to make that very easy. That said, if you're thinking along the same lines you probably want to buy the highest watt version available. They're dimmable, but even at the highest setting they're not very bright (at least in a large, well-lit sanctuary), so the color washes out quickly. On the other hand, in lower light settings (evening service) and where the light is somewhat contained (I put one in a clay jar) they are excellent. I haven't used the adhesive yet, and may never because I like being able to move them around. I also haven't had them long enough to comment on battery usage. For now, though, I'm very pleased with them. Good value in a simple but well-done product.

**Q: If I was to turn these on 3x/night w/out timer on full power,how long do the batteries last?**
A: I have left them on for 5 nights by accident before and they are still going with Dollar General brand batteries.

**Q: What is the color rendering index on these? (not color temperature, that’s different.)**
A: Its color rendering index is 80, thanks for your question.

**Q: Can they be safely removed without leaving damage?**
A: You could replace whatever the included mounting strips are velcro Command Strips. I've done that with similar battery powered remote LED lights and it works well. Everything is completely removable with no damage.

**Q: Do you have to touch to turn it on, or can you operate it exclusively with the remote? Considering putting it somewhere hard to reach.**
A: You can operate them fully with the remote.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great lights, terrible battery life

These lights are easy to install - agree with other reviewers that the adhesive that comes with these is garbage. Save yourself the trouble and get some 3M strips from the start so you don’t have to reinstall. The lights themselves are very bright - I like that there are dimmer and color settings to suit your mood. Biggest downside is the battery life. I use mine maybe 2-3 hours a day and after about a month the lights were so dim you could hardly tell they were on. I have six of them installed in my kitchen so that means that I’m running through 18 batteries a month. Not the end of the world, but is costly and just a pain to have to switch out the batteries so often.
