Better than an antibacterial spray!
Very good for new Tattoos and quick clean up for hands when no soap and water available, think rustic camping. Antibacterial to clean wounds as well. This comes out like a foam, but not soapy foam. Clean scent.

After one use my new tattoo was much softer and more moisturized then with Aquaphor!
My fiancée had gotten this years ago for his one tattoo and loved it. When we got our matching tattoos yesterday(April5,2024) I checked Amazon and found the product and he didn’t even remember the name of it till I read it from the search results. Upon receiving it today; after my first application all the spots of my tattoo which were rough, bumpy, felt like they were starting to scab so to speak; became smooth, felt moisturized yet several hours later, and clothing was less irritating to it afterwards!! The far left areas of the purple and blue symbols were very rough and looked like there was a scab under the color until I applied the foam the first time about 5 hours ago, I have not applied anything since then and it isn’t dry or anything. My fiancée is diabetic and has trouble healing sometimes after tattoos and the tattoo he used this on previously was the only one which healed without becoming infected. He was already beginning to show signs of a possible infection with our matching tattoos. But after the first application of this on his new tattoo, it’s felt much more moisturized and looks less rough, abrasive, or bumpy!! I’ll update the review upon the completion of the healing process as well.

Worked great for a tattoo.
I bought the H2Ocean foaming soap at the advice of a friend, to care for a new tattoo. I used it for a week, and it worked great, with no irritation and no mess. Since it's useful for some types of wounds as well, I got the larger size to keep around just in case.

Incredibly Gentle
I am so impressed with this product. I have used the standard Dial Gold plus Aquaphor method on my tattoos for years and I wish I knew better. I tried H2Ocean on my recent addition and it is so much more gentle, scentless, skin calming, and I am pretty sure my tattoo is actually healing faster.

Reading is fundamental
Mainly writing this so people don't make the same mistake I did. I guess joke's to me for not reading the label but to be fair, I didn't expect for this soap to work differently from every other soap I've used in my life. By which I mean: this product is meant to be rubbed into dry skin until fully incorporated, no need to rinse it off. I used it the wrong way a few times and probably wasted the product, which is a shame because it doesn't really come with much to begin with. Also I'll bet that because of this application people tend to apply with dirty hands, so just don't forget to wash your hands first if you intend to use this on your fresh tattoo. I got this in a pinch when I couldn't get unscented antibacterial soap. I don't see any notable difference between using this and using the soap plus lotion for moisturizing effect. Since I use my regular lotion for my tattoos it's ultimately more cost-effective for me to just do that. But I suppose if you're using it as a two-in-one the cost is worth it. There is somewhat of a convenience and also drawback to the dry application. Because I am working on a large back tattoo in pieces, wet washing it is a hassle. I basically have to do an extra-half shower once a day to clean it that way. Using this product is great to avoid that, but only for the parts of my back I can reach on my own or if I have help. With the wet-wash method I can at least let clean soap run over those hard-to-reach areas and then rinse it off. Not ideal but it works okay. For a product that has to be thoroughly rubbed in that just doesn't work. Of course for most tattoos you'll be able to reach without assistance but worth keeping in mind that your milage may vary depending on placement. I'm still glad I got it. It's convenient for when I stay with a partner and then I don't have to to a weird lukewarm wash huddled in their shower. But when I don't have that assistance it's mostly useless in my particular circumstance. I'll keep as a backup but ultimately regular soap and lotion are still my go-to.

Miracle in a bottle.
I've used this soap to heal two very large tattoos. This soap will always be my soap for my tattoos. It's gentle and does not aggravate my sensitive skin ( I have eczema ). It feels soothing on a new tattoo and does not dry out your skin like dial hand soap (usually recommended for tattoos). My tattoos healed and flaked very quickly while using this soap. Here's a reason why I will always use this soap: In my sleep, I accidentally scratched a part of my tattoo. I woke up and saw that the scratch was oozing a greenish puss and scabbing. I was the scratch and tattoo 4 times a day with this soap and the scratch healed in four days and I had no loss of ink! This soap does wonders for healing wounds. Buy it. These small bottles go fast, though. I recommend also buying the 6 oz bottle and refilling this little bottle every time you run low. If you have a big piece, this bottle won't last through your healing process.
